I am having a really stupid day! I have been sitting at the laptop doing something else and just remembered the Sky refund thing, two minutes after the race started. Stupid!

Don't worry, the favourite didn't win so no refund.

I laughed when I saw people say that Sky were paying PA to post the offer and that the race was fixed. I was planning to look into locking in profit but it was 2 minutes before when I noticed it and managed to get a match with about £1 QL so just took it in the hope it did work out.

Haha yeah, I have what I consider to be a healthy level of scepticism about PA but I really don't think Sky would pay them to do that!

I think that people forget when a bookie puts on an offer like sky did then they think the fav will lose. Why would they want to give away a load of free bets. So surely they felt the fav would lose. It is the same with a lot of the other offers.
I was going to just put a big lay bet on the fav but I was too late.

I locked in profit but the lay odds moved slightly so I only got £4.80 odd instead of hoped-for £8.90ish. That was 'equal profit' and come to think of it, all of these Sky 'fb if favourite wins' offers, the favourite never wins, so I should have bet on that and done max profit at exchange as some others did at PA... managed to get £17 odd out of. Some who went for the outsider got an amazing bonus from BOG.

I've noticed for their Saturday acca's I think only one or two in recent months have won, so all those times underlaying is fairly pointless... go for the lock in or even overlay! Same with these free bet if favourite win's offers. Go for the lock in.

I've had some horses win at big odds so I've just withdrawn £200 from SIX different bookies. My exchange wants to cry! It's all good though

Did both pre match but can only see the Chelsea offer in the forum and only £10 free bets in my PP account. Not major problem if got it wrong as only a 80p QL.
