Has anyone been doing the Netbet £10 FBs on Ascot?

I've received a message that they're reached the maximum FBs to credit.

Unsure whether this means no freebie for the £30 qualifier I placed this morning, but just a word of warning to anyone who might be putting something on last 2 races today..

Fingers crossed! Will know more on sunday morning :) Tried to pick the best ratings but maybe should have picked bets that would have happened quicker! Impatient now to properly get going. ;D

I've only done Netbet's horses once, thought they might get funny about doing it loads so soon after sign up. I might do it Saturday for the second time.

Anyone set up a Skrill Account recently?
I was thinking of using it for moving money around a bit faster but it is proving a bit of a pain. I registered ok then linked my debit card then I could not get it verified. I put in a help ticket to ask them to sort it. I got a reply two days later saying to verify air needed to upload a pic of my ID front and back of Driving Licence. So I go to do that and instead of being able to reply on the same help ticket they close it as resolved. I then create a new help ticket and upload my Driving License as required since then nothing and four days with no reply.
I have read reviews where people have waited weeks before getting verified and being able to use their account.
Seems like they are extremely slow so think maybe not worth it?
Anyone here using Skrill for Matched Betting?

I've decided to avoid Skrill, I read that there c be problems but I forget what they were.

Just read my Netbet email, didn't realise you meant the offer has been pulled altogether, they must have been hammered for it. Fair play to them for telling customers rather than sneakily pulling it like other bookies have done previously.

Thanks for that. Seems that there are allot of bad reviews online lots of people complaining that they could not get a response and could not get their account verified easily. Just wondered as PA recommend it but now I look and read all the negative reviews I think it is worth avoiding.
Think I will be just closing the account with Skrill. Not worth it and certainly their customer support/help is so awful. Pity they could have been good if they made the effort to be on par with PayPal.

I'm sure it was something to do with not being able to get money back or something like that.

I've managed fine but I'm lucky, I've got some instant access savings with a phone app and I can immediately transfer into my MB current account then into bookies if I've misjudged withdrawals and offers. I've borrowed £400 from myself to help the Euros along. Without that, cushion it would be harder to not use something like Skrill.

Yes I read that they don't have the money back guarantee like PayPal has. So if money was taken from your Skrill Account fraudulently or you didn't get what you paid for Skrill won't intervene or get it back for you.
Sounds like you have it sorted though. Yes I have done that too when I have misjudged it borrow from myself then pay it back when the money arrives into my MB Account.
Just thinking it would be easier with Skrill but they don't seem to be reliable.

As our banks grow, it won't even be a problem. I aim to have about 400 in smarkets at the moment and that usually does what I need to do unless iahve heavy exchange losses but I'm hoping to get into accas properly next footie season and I'll need more then.

Yes it is usually ok but have had when everything has ended in the bookies so then emptied the exchange then needed to get money from bookies.
You can actually use PayPal on a few of the bookie sites and betfair though not on Smarkets so that is another way to do it. PayPal is good reliable and has Buyer Protection as well so that is an option. Sure people on here have used PayPal and funds have been in within a few hours so it is fast to get funds too.

Finally made it to the MB forum post! Hi everyone!

Newbie question coming..... for the free bets, is there a maximum odds we shouldn't go above?

[member=3855]FlattsBentley[/member] I go for about 4.0-5.0, no more than 6.0 on a single.

Have a look for the acca spreadsheet and use your free bets on doubles or trebles. You extract more profit that way and they are seen as low-value so your account will look better :)

After lurking in the forums, reading advice to work up my courage, I've finally taken the plunge! Unless something's gone horribly wrong (and I've triple checked, and started on nice simple win/draw Euro match outcomes given I'm utterly clueless when it comes to sports and betting), by the end of the weekend I should have made my first 40-odd quid profit from matched betting- hooray! It's so very encouraging to have found a money-making sideline that really is relatively straight forward and profitable :D

Lots of new starters at the minute! Good luck all, ask plenty of questions if you need to.

I tend to stick to around 4-6 odds for free bets too. The exceptions are on certain horse offers where the runners start at 5 or 6, I might pick one of the other horses around the 7 mark if the odds are close. But you shouldn't be doing much with horses unless you've got a profile of horse betting with a bookie, and you need to slowly build up to that. I've been doing this over 6 months and I still only occasionally bet on horses and only high profile races.

Hello! Poking my head back in - I've been off the matched betting since February, no real reason other than spending time doing other things. But we have quite a bit less money than we thought (we forgot we cleared an ISA out 100% to move house) so am trying to get back to it.

Just done a few on Coral and working my way through the reloads when I saw the wager £100 get £50 on slots - anyone on here done it? I know its better to do risk free if we haven't got a lot of money but I prefer the slot offers ;)

I have made £380 in the last two days from 'risky' slots offers, they were Betfair and SkyBet. I think the Betfair one was a VIP one and the SkyBet was marked 'exclusive for you' but definitely worth a go!

Also, hello!
