Looking for a wee bit of help and guidance please.

Before the footie season starts I want to get a good understanding of the Lay All acca method,

On the PA forum there are currently 6000 posts on it, so it is taking me some time to plough through them.

Can anyone who does the lay all method give me an idiots guide to doing them please.

Feel free to PM me the details or even contact me via PA to ensure i'm not just a chancer.

Thanks (And I won't even mention the England game)

I backed and layed Jamie Vardy to be the first goal scorer in England's match last night and when I checked this morning, both back and lay bets were voided. I'm not bothered as I haven't lost anything but can anyone tell me why? I didn't watch the match, I only know England lost.

Jamie Vardy wasn't in the starting eleven but was one of the subs so he's treated like a 'non-runner'........much like most of the England team last night

I've been double-gubbed by Bet Bright. They gubbed me earlier in the week via email and have just emailed me again to tell me I'm gubbed. I wonder if this will be a regular email. Like an email from an ex saying, "We aren't together anymore, just confirming again in case you think I've changed my mind!"

As England are now out of Euro 2016 - any ideas how long it takes for the bets to be settled on England to Win?

All of mine already have been, depends on the bookie I guess, maybe they're holding out hope for a second round of sixteen.....

Only tournament winning bet I didn't manage to Lay before was England which was a £10 qualifier, and WH very kindly sent me a £5 consolation FB for them this morning which coupled with the £5FB I got the other day for England actually managing to win, means it's a very small loss.

Still 1 top goalscorer bet which looks like it might be a bust *shakes fist at Müller*

What parts are you struggling with in the method?

Low odds good matches are key... Should be trying to stay below 1.2... However there are exceptions when you have a number of 1.0something odds games...

The best thing to do with it is to download the spreadsheet and just play about with the odds on there...

If you want to go for the real thing... If you have a Coral account you can get on the Tennis Lay All's which normally yield around 25-30% of the stake you place....

The important figures are in the bottom left hand side in regards to profit and such....

Below is a tennis one I have on at the moment.... Don't go anywhere near that stake as the standard Coral tennis acca insurance is £25

I found myself looking into sports trading today. I was thinking how to move on from MBing, if the bookies gub me too much. It looks complicated but I did have a chuckle at the thought of me, the ultimate sport hater, becoming a sports trader. I don't think it's for me, but it kind of looks interesting.

I started spread betting a couple of years ago and the money management looks very similar to that - I only lasted a few weeks as I'm quite risk averse but thankfully only lost £50 or so... like you say, it does sound interesting and when time allows I'll read up some more.

Are there any moneyshedders doing this?

Was doing a fair bit of it.... Mostly on Football with the Lay The Draw Method... Basically lay the draw and then cash out after the Fave scores a goal....

Basketball I was doing something slightly different.... Effectively putting all my lay bets on a low odds team.... Then placing Backs in Queue at higher odds and hoping that they get matched further into the game.... With Basketball it swings a lot and serious profits can be made...

Cricket... Same kind of thing... Made a packet out of the England fall apart against the West Indies...

Brexit.... Made a fair bit from that as well.... Backed out at high odds and as the votes came in laid off at lower odds to make profit that way...

Well that's certainly wet my appetite, and sound like I need to know more about how the exchanges work.

The Theme Park one? VERY high variance I think - reminds me of the Paddy Power Slots. They are 25p spins so a value of £12.50 - I won £1.11 from those 50 free spins - needless to say, I didn't get very far before busting out :p
