Ok. So does it work the same as normal match betting, where the lay stake will make up for the bookmaker loss? Sorry, i'm just trying to get this whole horse racing refund thing.

Does odds monkey not provide you with any instructions on horse refunds or something?

PA everyday update the Horsey Refunds page with what offers which bookies are running and how to do them. Does OM not give you these details?

Basically everything on MatchCatcher is ONLY there because it has an offer running on it but PA tell you what the offer is but obviously you can't see that at the moment.

I'm actually getting a cracking price for PA at the moment because of their Loyalty discount scheme

After 6 months the price is only £17.99
After 12 months the price is only £14.99
and after 18 months you get normal PA + Match catcher + acca catcher for only £14.99 which is what I'm getting..

Just something to think about instead of paying for 2 services...

think im doing this wrong. My first horse refund bet has given me a loss :( Horse won at betstars so £9.00 in credit and obviously lost at betfair. So im down just under a quid with no refund. So do you just have to hope that your horse falls or comes 2nd place then with these horse refunds or you lose money?

I can only find information on acca's on the OM site. The daily offers section shows you the race event, time and bookmaker but nothing on how to do it. When i was on PA , yeah they had instructions on how to do it.

Yes you bet and hope your horse comes falls / comes 2nd / wins with odds over 4.0

Each offer is so different you really need to see that horse refund page each day tbh!!!

only the betfair sports offer needs your odds to be above 4.0

like i said every horse refund offer with each bookie is different and has difference minimum odds and conditions etc.

It's not a one size fits all approach with horse refunds...

No you lose a few pence each time using Match Catcher and hopefully each handful of bets you do you end up triggering a few of the refunds and make a bundle of cash

On the other hand, I nearly didn't lay off Lazio v Crotone in 3 of my accas as the odds had drifted a fair whack when I went to lay last night. Husband told me Lazio would win. Odds had gone down a bit when I checked this morning so decided to go ahead and lay them off and it's currently 0-0 at 83 minutes so I am feeling quite glad at that one.

Only if it was the last leg in the acca. More legs to go means you also have a chance to reduce the QL (or even make a small guaranteed profit) and more chances for there to be only one leg that loses. When you get to the last leg you also have the option to underlay that leg to guarantee some return no matter the result.

every now and then I put a "normal acca" on PP as I'm excluded from promos and don't lay off the first match therefore at least making a small profit if it wins. Today's first two matches have won and both unlaid the next is Lazio now here's my problem... I think Lazio are a certain win but even if I lay the bet the cash out value with PP is £1 more than my profit !!!!

Decisions decisions
