Well I appear to have survived getting my qualifier right, my donkey lost, the money is back in Betfair and I'm going for the freebet now. Newbie question no.2 of the day then.

Coral didn't give me a straight £20 bet but rather 4x£5. PA said to just put all 4 on the same bet but am I right in thinking there is no disadvantage - aside from perhaps an odd few pence lost in the lay deal - to doing it as 4 different bets? I know it's easier to do as one as less faffing around finding good deals, but I thought it might be a good way to get some practice at lower layoff amounts, plus would be more 'mug' looking.

That's absolutely fine. Try not to use the free bets on odds over 5.0-6.0. There's more Premiership football tomorrow if you want to do your checking x50

I have another headscratcher here, I am bumbling my way thru the beginner offers on PA and I am at one for Ladbrokes exchange... win or lose £100 (4 x £25) and they give you a £25 free bet, now, before I stuck £100 in there I thought I hadn't noticed Ladbrokes mentioned as an exchange in the oddsmatcher, I just did a few random in the oddsmatcher and checked up to 10 pages of matches and not a single one is Ladbrokes exchange... so does Ladbrokes exchange only operate certain days or something? or is it just an outdated offer for something that is no more? Bit confused by this.

I think it's the same odds as one of the other exchanges... Betdaq from memory. Use Betdaq odds as a guide then check them yourself first.

Ahh thanks Aunty so, the Oddsmatcher doesn't list Ladbrokes as an exchange as BetDaq is the same?
If it said that on the PA offer it would have clarified that right up... I will have a wee look and see if indeed Betdaq and Ladbrokes are the exact same. Cheers for that

Id recommend just manually searching for matches rather than relying completely on the oddsmatcher...

COME ON CHELSEA. I have them in many a small stakes acca, only gone for 4-5 legs today but could be in for £25 or so which will cover my other acca for £60 return but West Ham have let me down in an embarrassing fashion

I've also stuck £20 in Smarkets to qualify for the free losing bonus, so I can now also lay off my free £10 Betfair wager too.

My poor braincells are already exhausted so think I'll leave the Betfred one that's next on my list until tomorrow or Monday

It will get faster and so you will be able to do more. I am finding the more I do it the quicker it gets and less taxing on the brain cells though I find anymore than half an hour and I have had enough or at least need a break.
Use Ultimatcher to track your bets and your profit/loss etc. Makes everything so easy.

I am stuck waiting for either Newcastle or West Ham to win so I've got some liability again, can't do anything now. And if they draw I'll be really miffed, as I'll have lost the last of my exchange.

I keep winning into 888, it's driving me mad, over half of my bank is in there now, need to withdraw some I suppose.

Withdrawn money out of Vernon's but first placed a mug bet so that I was not just taking money out. Once that is in my bank can do some more.
Sticking to only doing football matches and well known teams just to be on the safe side.
Luckily most of my recent bets have ended up in Smarkets. Relieved when I don't win!

Now I am getting almost a tenner as a 'cash out' option on my massive acca. Seeing as it was only a £5 freebet used, I *could* cash that out if I wanted and be pretty much £10 up. does that work with freebets?

I've just seen in the T&C you can't cash-out free bets

"The Cash Out feature is not available for any bet placed using a free bet." but it IS making it available. I think i better just leave it.

Chelsea's stunning comeback helped out my acca....but I need west brom to score 1 for me to still be in with a chance! it does say 'cash out value is less than free bet stake...so it looks like I could have been £10 up....but now I'm not!
