Hey TheMatchedBet, I found this page when searching for matched betting information.

I checked out your site and it looks pretty good but how much money can be made from doing this stuff? I've been reading quite a bit about it but still unsure whether it can keep making money on and ongoing basis or not.

Thanks.

Hey! Thanks for the feedback. Please let us know if there is anyway we could improve. Any concepts on the site you don't understand? etc.

In terms of how much you can make from matched betting, it depends entirely on how much effort you put it in and what offers are available from the bookies. We believe you should be making at least £500 a month. I know some people whose sole income source is from matched betting.

Don't worry about whether you can keep making money. There are plenty of bookies out there which make the betting industry very competitive. They need to regular have offers/promotions to remain competitive. This competition = money for us!

In order to be one of the high earners, you will need to have a set routine and a very good understanding of the process in order to complete as many offers as possible. I like to think of matched betting as a job, the more hours you work (placing your bets) the more you will make.

Hope this helped.

Hey, thanks a lot for the detailed reply. I watched the video on your site again and I think I understand how it works a bit better. Hopefully once I've done a few of the offers it'll become clearer. :)

£500 extra a month would be absolutely brilliant, I've seen people posting online that they make thousands every month from it so hopefully I could make at least £500 a month!

I also Googled the Profits Acumulator site that pheebs was talking about and found this kind of journal progress write up on it- http://www.jamie-anderson.com/profit-accumulator-review. Is it really possible to make as much money as he says he is making doing this? It's a lot more than I make doing my full time job! I've not got the best of jobs but even some high flying professionals won't make as much as he says he is.

I'm definitely ready to get started with it soon so I'll join your site as a free member first just to understand how it all works. Is there lots of people in your exclusive Facebook group to talk to about this stuff too?

Thanks

Well I started my Journey with Matched Betting on Friday

I've made £80 so far (TAX FREE) and spent around 5 minutes on each of my bets (a grand total of 7)

Compared to anything else I do it is MILES ahead in terms of time spent vs reward

Just waiting for a few of my payouts to hit my bank account again before ploughing on with more bets for the weekend

I see no reason at all why I can't bring in an easy £600-£800 a month from this once I have a big enough 'kitty' to do more bets

I did matched betting yonks ago and made a few quid, but didn't go too far as I just didn't have enough spare money to turn a profit. Does it still take a a spare few hundred to get going? (I know you make this all back, just some of us don't have any pennies beyond those that need to pay the bills :-\)

I've started with a £200 kitty

Make bets

get profit

add profit to kitty

rinse and repeat

Think I need to get kitty to around £1000+ before I could start drawing money from it

To be honest I don't see why you couldn't start with just £60

yeah sounds like it's not changed much since back in 2009/2010 when I tried it. One to think about one day when I can have some spare cash! Thanks for keeping us posted, always nice to hear real profits, especially as they're tax free.

Jon, I would always aim for 80% of the sign up bonus so using £60 to start up would be no good to me. If I used £60 to start up then i'd be looking at under 60% of the sign up bonus. With over £1000 of sign up offers out there it pays to get the most out of each offer if you can.
If I was you I wouldn't touch that money even when you hit the £1000 profit mark. Once the sign up offers are done you will need quite a big bank just to do the reloads and mug bets. Just on the Grand National alone there was one offer that would of tied up over a £1000 of your money(risk free) and paid out £419.
I am no guru but I have done lots and lots of reading on this subject and would be more than happy to steer people in the right direction if they asked.

Hi [member=1699]The Imp[/member]

Am doing quite well considering I only started last Friday and it only takes me about 10mins to do each bet;)

Rocking at Total Profit : 124.47

Am paying for Profit Accumulator to help me at the moment, that's working out very well. Basically spoon feeds me offers constanty. At the moment I tend to do 2 or 3 offers, wait 2 days rinse and repeat. Keeps the cash in flow

BetFair exchange will be the death of me lol

Did my first match bet the other week. Made about £12. Found the process ok apart from the William Hill site which I spent 3 days with tech support.

I used the guide on here:

Matched betting is a legitimate way of making money. I've made over £3000 since April doing it. True there is information freely available online, but is a bit confusing when you start out. I joined PA and the software and tutorials are really great, you can't go wrong if you follow the videos.

:)

Well done AdamWW.

Looking to make similar myself over the coming weeks especially as they have announced a reorganisation at my work place. :-\

Hi guys. So I've been doing the matched betting for a while, mostly for free sign up bets and I did all I could on the free version of the site I was using so am currently doing a trial of their full version to see if I could use it in the long term. At the moment I'm finding it a bit confusing, even though I thought I had a handle on how to do the bets.

I was wondering if those of you who are using PA could give me a bit of detail as to how it works through them. What kind of offers do they encourage you to use? Do you have to find matching bets yourself on the sites they direct you to? Any detail about what you are finding good about it. Also about any other site if anyone else uses another, that's just the one I have seen mention on here.

Thanks :)

Thanks [member=1]Jon@TheMoneyShed[/member]

Did you do the free trial? If so through that does it give you an good idea of what the site offers or do you not really see that until you pay for access?

After 1 qualy bet and 1 free bet I'm 13.86 up.

Bit scary having to shove quite a bit of cash in betfair to cover the liability but now I understand how it works it seems ok.

How many bets are people doing a day and how much are they then keeping in Betfair rather than withdrawing?

Full membership obviously gives you all the signup and daily offers

Also access to the Facebook that everyone uses which is a true goldmine

Cool, thanks for your feedback. I'll see how I get on with the one I'm signed up to at the moment and if I'm still struggling to get my head around it in a few days I'll give PA a try.

In regards to putting on bets I did as many as I could till I had no betfair balance to bet with because it was all tied up in bets. And I kept money in my account until I had enough to have a few bets running at once, then just took out a couple of hundred to keep my money bank balance healthy.
