Was this the 'how does your sentence end' study or a completely different one? I just tried to do it and got an 'your connection is not secure' firefox warning, so did not proceed any further, naturally.

Then a couple of minutes ago, Prolific said they were having some issues but refreshing it, and got back to the normal screen okay. Anyone else having any problems? thanks :)
I'm not sure. I did mine on the 19th and got £3.30 for it if that helps.

Thanks @Jute - sounds like it was a different one to the study I quoted above. Be really annoying for anyone that did the 'trick' study and did not get paid if it was for £3.30 then!

Prolific is by far my favourite panel. The studies are often genuinely interesting and they are very reliable. The only downside is how quickly they get filled up, and I've missed £10 worth of studies this week not getting there in time!

Yes, you have to be quick that's for sure. I'm still waiting for them to announce their apparent deal with Paypal re free withdrawals though, now that Circle Pay has gone.

Not sure if it's country specific but I never pay any fees now. When I first got a payment about a month ago there was a fee but in 3 withdrawals since there's been no fee for me.

Well that's interesting. Maybe it's in place now. I cashed out with the circle thing but haven't since. I'll try it in the next few days.

They are university/college studies, so the summer is usually a lot quieter (unless things have changed since I last did any surveys)

Well, because I'm sad I keep a small spreadsheet for it and last July and August were two of my best months (as was Easter this year). I think many PhD students do a lot of their research during the holidays. Either that or I have no idea what I'm talking about.

Thanks @Jute - that is good to know. And no, you are not sad - just very efficient and organised :)

Oh I guess that makes sense. Hopefully they will be extra motivated and work through their summer :)

Now the url has changed, my prolific assistant has stopped working. I've already missed a couple of studies today. :(
Hopefully the extension will be updated soon and normality will resume, whatever normality is. ;)

Watch out if you see a study for Environment and Work Behaviour - I just spent over 45 mins on a '16 min' task and did not even complete it - horrendous layout and questions. Have messaged them to point stuff out but don't expect to get paid - grrrrrrrrrrr

Just a quick update - even though I couldn't complete the study above, I still submitted it (in case it was an error) and got paid for it :)

I sent a message of thanks to the person but have not heard back as to what the issue actually was. Will post on here if I find anything else out, in case others did it too.

Did anyone do the high paying survey worth £8.75? I just had my first ever submission rejected for failing attention checks. I can't believe that happened but I have no way of disputing it really :(
