I use Page Monitor, a chrome extension, set to check every minute.

Many times, even that's too slow. If you get offered a study then grab it fastfastfast, they don't hang about!

They are hit and miss - you need to remember that at present the UK and European Universities are just about to return from summer vacation. Once, they are back the number of studies will start increasing. I keep spreadsheets with earnings over the past 3 years and August/September is usually the quiet time for PA (although weirdly this August was stellar).

EDIT TO ADD - I did manage to do one for £3.00 this morning.

Judging a Vision Statement

It keeps showing up every 5 minutes (since yesterday!) as available with 1 place left, but when I click on it, the status changes to completed (though still with 1 place left). A few minutes later, it's back again! It's getting annoying now as Page Monitor is constantly pinging for this one survey.

I've contacted Prolific & am waiting for a reply, but I just wondered if it's affecting everyone or just me.

Just wanted to flag something - I noticed that lots of people were making loads from Prolific and I wasn't getting a single invite to a survey. I emailed them and they explained that there is an issue which means that some people weren't receiving anything and they were trying to resolve this. Fast forward a couple of months with no change so I closed my account, set up a new email address and joined again - £25 earnings in a week with minimal effort as I've been working 12 hour days so might be something to look at if any of you aren't receiving invites at the moment

Several people here had trouble not getting surveys including me and all you need to do is to send Prolific Academic a message through their support system and they will check your Account to make sure everything is ok. Sometimes accounts are flagged mistakenly so then all surveys are stopped but you don't get a message to say there is a problem. If it happens again and you don't get any when you normally would just contact Prolific who will then sort it so that you can do the studies/surveys again.

How is everyone finding PA at the moment? I'm starting to wonder if there's something wrong with my account as I've not had a single test for at least 2 weeks! Never known it so quiet. I regularly check for tests throughout the day so its not like I could have missed them all.

Yes it has been quieter than usual, I have done a few but not as many as usual, I think that is the way sometimes, you get lots in one day and then one for a while.

Students in the UK have only just started back at university this week after the summer break, hopefully, the number of surveys available will start to increase again soon. I've just completed a couple so it might be worth starting to check again regularly.

Agreed it's been very quiet the last few weeks. Just done one of those Oxford packaging ones which is the first for a few days.
Incidentally if anyone is using the Distil monitor with Firefox it doesn't work properly with the latest Firefox update (55.0.3) , there's no audio ping. Hopefully the developer will update it soon. In the meantime I've resorted to using Visualping with the Chrome browser

Sounds like its not just me then, was starting to worry my account had been restricted or something. I find I keep having to log in now too whereas before I could stay signed in. Hope it picks up again soon!

I have only been doing this for a few weeks but noticed last day or two has been very slow in terms of available studies.
