Edit: ended yesterday with over £25 from Prolific alone.

Yep, they have. I don't like the new layout, so I'm using an old bookmark, which takes me to the old layout. I suppose I'll have to embrace change eventually though.

Looks like we're forced onto the new site now. But at least we don't have to refresh the page... but do the page monitors still work? I removed the demo and didn't get an alert

I'm not sure. I've set up Distil on the new page and it pings now and again but there don't seem to be any changes to the page. I much preferred the old version but it looks like it's really gone this time

Update: It does automatically update the front page. Just came back in and there was a BREXIT study showing which wasn't there before. £1.20 for 5 mins, not a bad rate!

Is this the new version? i have this on my new laptop but on my XP PC it is what i assume is the older version still... anyway the page monitor works on both the laptop and PC for me

Has anyone managed to get a page monitor app working on the new site yet? I've tried Visual Ping and Distill, but I can't seem to get either of them to work. They don't seem to recognise the area of the page where the new studies appear.

I couldn't get distill to work either, so tried the prolific add on for Chrome. It seems to be working, but sometimes tells me about studies that I'm not qualified for.

I use the distill page monitor on Firefox and it works fine for me. Just make sure to have the time that it checks checks the page is not too frequent. Mine is set at 2 mins plus make sure to set it so that it monitors the studies page only. I do get notifications sometimes when there aren’t any new studies could be just they have gone quickly though.

@Topaz - Thanks for that. Will give the Prolific add-on for Chrome a try. / Actually, I might try Distil instead as I've been using Firefox recently (Chrome has been running slow for me lately; I've tried most things to speed it up). / Thanks to you both, Topaz, @Blackpepper1.

Thanks for the replies. I used VisualPing for ages but it only stopped working for me a few days ago when the old site disappeared. don't use Firefox, so I'll give the Prolific add-on a try. I did look at it, but there were lots of comments saying it had stopped working so I didn't bother trying it. Will see how it gets on.

I have the prolific assistant on chrome, works fine (I think... only pain is it goes off all the time with EVERY new survey, not just the ones i am eligible for)

Just to say thanks Topaz & mabozza for recommending prolific assistant for Chrome. Based on the reviews I wouldn't have bothered with it without your input. Completed 3 surveys today I would have more than likely missed otherwise. Much appreciated.
