That's a pain, not being able to use the extension. If its any consolation, every time my lappy goes into sleep mode or loses connection it stops working!

Silly question probably, but does that mean no extensions on any browser, or just the one that you do Leapforce on? I don't work for them, so don't know.

No, I haven't managed to get either distill or visual ping to work properly on the new site.
Just the browser you work on and you can have a separate profile too, but I'd prefer to have everything on one if possible just so I don't have to have loads of things open but if thats the only option then I will look at getting the add on for another profile

I have the prolific assistant on chrome, works fine (I think... only pain is it goes off all the time with EVERY new survey, not just the ones i am eligible for)

Oo, I'll give this a try! Not having much luck with Distill.

Is it just me getting an error message whenever I log in on computer? Can get on on my mobile but there's never anything there.

Great!! Glad its working for you... today i did the one with 520 phrases to say into an app, that keeps popping up then reappearing as users drop it LOL... anyone else done it? managed it in 84 mins
I've done 2 of these! The first one took just over 90 mins and the second about 70 mins. Everytime I look at prolific I dread seeing it there again because I hated doing it but cant turn the money down! The paid within a few minutes of completion though which was good. Also the second one I did said that I had 3 days to complete it which makes it easier!

Yeah they are heart sinking, but as you say too good to knock back LOL

Hadn't received any surveys for a couple of weeks so sent a quick mail to prolific to ask if everything was ok,

Received a reply saying:
I'm afraid you cannot participate in further studies on Prolific because your account has failed one or more of these checks. We are unable to disclose further information about these checks.

I am currently showing as 426 submissions approved and don't recall anything being untoward with any of the surveys.
Sadly they have also said that they cannot give me a reason why.

Just wondering if anyone else had received this and if there was any way to reverse it.

This exact thing happened to someone I know, no explanation. They ended up signing up with their work email address and starting again with no issues. They were quite disappointed as they always took their time doing the studies as opposed to other survey sites where they were more slap dash with the responses.

A lot of other survey sites I use I have fell away from as they were sometimes really long and boring, but I always enjoyed doing prolifics.

Never mind then, I might leave it for a while and possibly try and sign up again at a later date :(

Try e-mailing them again to query it and say you have no recollection of any of the studies you completed being done incorrectly and please could your account be sorted so you can take part in studies again.
If it has just happened out of the blue then it could be just an errror with their system so it is worth questioning it again.

Same thing just happened to me. I emailed Prolific and they said there is nothing that they can do.

Since I’ve been making an effort to check in a few times a day, I’m starting to really enjoy these surveys in comparison to other survey sites, so I was wondering if Prolific ac is the only one that you would recommend? ☺️

That is really strange! To not give you a reason either is not on!
They must know why and to just suddenly do that seems really odd.
Usually Prolific are really good at sorting things. I had trouble with my Account awhile back and they just sorted it straightaway.

This is very strange, can you still cash out after this happens? I am wondering if I should just start cashing out every £5 as opposed to £20 to avoid any danger.

I always just cash out when I have reached the minimum just in case there are any problems. I feel especially as a few people have been stopped suddenly from doing studies without a reason given it is better to just cash out rather than risk losing more if something happened.
