Oh wow... I had forgotten about this as I must have signed up about 8 years ago?! And didn't earn much... thankfully I could just accept the new Ts and Cs and stay registered so it would be great to earn some extra on surveys, I didn't realise how good it was! You never had to submit ID before, but I've had to do that and they say it's a 10 day wait for it to be approved <eyeroll> so I'm just waiting on that at the moment.

How much are people earning per month?
March I did £126

Well I had a nice surprise from Prolific today. I got an unexpected bonus of £5.19 on top of the payment of £2.23 I didn't even know there was a bonus involved. So todays cash out was a grand total of £15.21

I luv you Prolific

I had a really odd one today. I had to fill in 10 Captcha codes, then got £5 to gamble on a roulette wheel and could stop at any time, so I won £11 (my bonus) and got £2.50 for doing it. I think the study was in collaboration with one of the gambling-type charities. I've certainly never had to 'win' a bonus...

I did that one too. I opted not to play the roulette so banked the £5. They paid the bonus yesterday evening.

I don't really know what I'd do without Prolific. I'd earn a lot more if I'd use a laptop as well but I just use a phone and tablet, but that's OK. Has anyone come up against a few glitches recently? I have and it does bother me as on TrustPilot I've noticed many people are having their accounts terminated and telling panellists they have failed checks and not to reapply. So much hoping it doesn't happen to me.

The only thing I've noticed more of lately, is, I ostensibly get a place then as I fire it up and check the consent bit, I'm told it's full (rather than being told it's full before I start) and have to return it.

I've started not clicking on 'start' when I notice only 1 place left because it seems to happen then. That said, I had one on Friday where I did and grabbed the last place. Other than that, I can't say I've had anything else go wrong.

I also would be sorry to lose it. I pay for most of my clothes and cosmetics on it these days.

I get that too. Today I had to "return" 2 studies as although they said tablets/phones allowed, they weren't in reality once I'd tried to start them.

I have had to return a couple of studies lately even though there were a few places available. Once I pressed start I then get a message to say there are too many people taking it.
It’s not happening to often though and it’s really picked up allot lately. So it’s a really good earner.

Anyone do the memory study just now? it was a 20 minute study, i got near the end but then the page wouldn't submit. i foolishly refreshed the page which sent me back to the beginning of the study. I emailed the researcher but i think i'll lose my £3.

Were you not able to quickly push through it again? I've done that once or twice when similar has happened to me. I'm also the screenshot queen when things looks as though they may be about to go pear-shaped, so that I can send it to the researcher. Sometimes they pay me anyway when that happens (not always though).

It was a 20 minute memory study which took quite a bit of focus so i didn't want to do it all over again. I did take a screenshot and i messaged the researcher who said that there were some devices that had the same issue and that he would still pay me so fingers crossed.

Fingers crossed for you, it's so annoying when that happens. I'm contesting one at the moment. The researcher has my completion code and says it could be a technical error therefore apologies but no payment! Prolific are usually very good though so I'm hoping they'll resolve it....I\ve never had one rejected so far and I've done 844 :)
