Has anyone else had this message from Prolific pop up?

We want to make Prolific better for you, but we can't do that without knowing how you use our site. Could we have your permission to use some third party services? These services enable us to improve functionality and performance by tracking usage and optimizing the service that this site offers. You can always change or withdraw your consent later.

Let me choose. I decline. That's ok.

Is it just cookies? I don't want to make the wrong decision and get cancelled by Prolific.

I'm not sure what it is exactly, but it's popped up a few times. I used to decline it, now I just accept it - I don't think it'll make any difference as to whether they can you or not.

I think it's just their trendy way of doing the tedious cookie permissions thing, which usually I set to essential-type only when asked but, like you, I accept everything on Prolific even though it probably doesn't 'cancel' you.

I declined mine.

Doesn't seem to have affected the number of surveys I get

Hi and thanks for the replies,

I clicked on Let Me Choose this morning and it is a cookie thing.
I declined everything and left only the essentials which you can't decline.

Love Prolific and would hate to lose it.

The wife is still contiueing to make insane money (at least for surveys!) from this each week.

Seems like since they've made the cull of users there's now more work to go around!

One thing that seems to have changed this week is that more than one person in a household can do the same survey. There used to be a warning message saying only one user per location. That has now gone.

Sometimes my Prolific notification works but sometimes I don't think it does? Does anyone else get that?

May was my best month so far with Prolific. I was hoping to break the £100 mark but I got to £95.77 cash in my bank and £15.44 awaiting review :D

A close second was Qmee at £80.60

This recurring study is paying £13.00 (£17.34 per hour) to help with training AI; I've been asked back as a previous participant but there are several more rounds to come in June so worth looking out for it
