I usually spend whatever I need to get free postage (if its not already free) and even if there is no return section, I still return it, you just won't get any extra payment for that bit obviously

I've just been accepted on edigital research but have a couple of questions!
There is now a list and on some it says invite for purchase or invited for purchase/return. Do I have to lay out the money for the purchase? Would I get it refunded or extra expenses? If so, how long would it take?
Also if I accept the invite but decide I'm unable to do it, will it affect me at all?

There may be a refund included as part of the survey, or there may not, but you can choose to take the item back for a full refund regardless, or keep it, its totally up to you. Personally, I always get a refund.
I've accepted one invite so far and then not been able to dothe work. I haven't been penalised for that, and messaged them straight away, I've made £150 in the last month from them as it's been exceptionally busy1

Is anyone else getting allocated jobs that they haven't accepted the invite for?
I haven't accepted any mobile jobs since the last round because I'm fed up with them keep returning them and find them fiddly to do (getting older, smartphone screens really are too small). But I've just had a message saying that I have been allocated a job. I suppose it's possible that I accepted it weeks ago, but I don't remember doing so.

I've had more invites today, ones I assume I applied for weeks ago, but I'm not 100% sure if there is a way for us to check?

Yes. I'm the opposite. I prefer the mobile ones as I don't need to think of questions for customer services! I definitely only requested mobile and I got given a full one.. I left it till the last day and had to ask for an extension on the deadline when I realised I had to wait for an email to come back!
I am interested in joining edigitalresearch.... if you are just allocated tasks without you having to accept them, what happens if you are unable to do them e.g you're on holiday?

Maybe I should just log in every day and keep trying.

How do we know whether the test involves making a purchase? The list I can see does not state this, although there is a bit on expenses next to each one but that has been left blank.

When applying for a task it'll usually say the fee, if it is low (ish) it won't include a purchase. Without disclosing the prices, as not sure if that is allowed, you get an extra 2x the normal fee (ish) for purchases.

Also, if you've not heard anything from them after joining give them a message - I did and it then got my account sorted and I have earned £500 odd since.

I sent my invoice last night as I've got one survey left to do which I will do after today, and one old one still to be checked and it's the 20th of the month tomorrow.

Wow how do you get so many? I only for £38 and I accepted 5 each time lol thought I did well - on a plus this is my first month getting any and I had them all accepted so hopefully they will come more often now.
I've invoiced for £98 - my highest month on this, hopefully we will get some more into Sep, the work seems to come and go in batches, prior to this I had nothing since March
