Fancy taking over the FA licence? Haha. I know there's a developer with relevant experience looking for a job at the minute. To be honest it needs a LOT of backing from venture capatalists - I don't think any of them, even Bemyeye are turning a profit at the minute. The joy of working in the tech world is that profit is secondary to things like share price and customer bases! That's why companies like amazon and tinder were able to keep going for years while making huge losses
FA had some billboards on near me last week but they were only paying £3 a time which is poor compared to the old T360 fee. I did actually try to do a couple as I was passing there anyway but every time I tried to accept the photo the app crashed out. I had some long and fruitless email convos with them but never resolved the problem.
I just checked back and for this year to April I made the princely sum of £60 from FA. There are so few jobs on there I hardly check it any more.
All of the phone apps have gone quiet this year compared to previously. I'm doing much better from web site reviewing and conventional MS at the moment. Hopefully there will be more outside work for the summer months
More a private FB group thingy for high use task app users, well the guy that took the franchise over has run it in to the dirt.. FA arent too bothered about the UK or he would have been kicked long ago, but, yeah, some guys say jobs on every week...odd.. and i check it like all apps several times a day.
I wonder if they can have a scheduler that offers them out by memberhsip number/Level.
Offer the task to the first 100 members, if they don't take it, offer it to the next 100, and so on.
What I like about levels on other apps, in theory it would be easy to instigate this. You could offer 80% to the top 10% and then different % to each other level. Give people 10 minutes (or whatever time) to open the app to accept but if they don't it is then offered to the next level down, and so on.
Well if you were a new user who could read it wouldn't be unclear because they do state that when they put the surveys on. Not that I'm particularly defending FA as it's really gone downhill in the last couple of years and god only knows why they want you to make a prat of yourself doing a video in the store, it doesn't seem to serve any useful purpose and I got some very funny looks last time I did one, mumbling to myself and talking to rows of toothpaste!
