So Field-Agent came through eventually, just took a while maybe the BACS agreements have been causing them a nightmare!!!!

I'm having difficulties getting my Field Agent account set up properly is it seems to be insisting upon a US telephone number to verify my paypal account, but also notice recent posts saying they've stopped using Paypal anyway. Anyone able to enlighten me and save me scrolling back through 60-+ pages?!

Field Agent in the UK, have stopped using Paypal from 31 July 2017, and now have switched to Bank Transfer, so you need to give a Bank Account Number and Sort Code.

That depends if you like giving someone your Bank Account number, I'm not sure what they can get using your Sort Code and Bank Account number.

Anyway, do people trust Paypal, when they give Paypal their Account Numbers to withdraw cash to...

However, I never give anyone access to my main bank accounts, I have a few spare for things like this, which has no money in it, and no overdraft arrangement, so it cannot go oversdawn!

it's just used as a money drop and I then move the money, sounds like money laundering....!

You are most likely on the US parent site (which does use paypal) look for Field Agent UK on app store and sign up to that one.

Unless you've "hacked" your region on iTunes or the Appstore, you should only be able to get UK versions of Apps for your iPhone.

I have the UK.. US Australian and Canadian versions on mine (only ever used the UK and Oz one)

Lol.. went to oz last year... did a few jobs in Brisbane since i was there... will be in Canada and US next year ... i have accounts on many foreign task apps.... cos you never know lol

Got the correct version but seem to have somehow signed up using an incomplete email address. No idea how that got through verification, but have emailed support so hopefully be able to get it sorted.

Well I cashed out on Monday and I've just checked the Building Society account I keep for online payments and still nothing.
So much for the 48 hour cashout!

Phoebe, I would open a separate on line account with one of the Building Societies.
I've got one with Coventry BS which is still paying over 1% for instant access although new accounts only pay 0.85% but its still better than most.
I use it for my task jobs and transfer it to my "real" account when I need it, that way I never give out my current account details to any of the task firms
