Hi

As a person who has liked this page about Field Agent UK we wanted to let you know that as of January 25th we are no longer the licensee of the Field Agent platform and we will be announcing no more jobs on here. If you have any questions about Field Agent UK please direct these to Mr. Henry Ho (Henry.Ho@fieldagent.net).

We of course are running our own platform called Task360 where all the tasks are now available - if you have not downloaded the app then it is available here https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/task-360/id957188378 and you can like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/task360/

If you have an outstanding balance on Field Agent, then that balance has now been moved over to the Task360 app where you can cash out. Please contact us via the Task360 Facebook page for more information.

I saw that. I don't know whether Field Agent will have its own tasks in future, or whether it will cease to exist.

I would recommend signing in to Field Agent today. A message came up after I opened the app saying that if you log out and then re-register on the new system then you will be able to use the app under the new owners.

There's a new message on the app today, [member=1]Jon[/member] [member=920]katykicker[/member] sounds like there could be more work:

"Hello Agent! Thanks for being a part of Field Agent's journey from the FIRST crowdsourcing app to 1,000,000+ Agents worldwide, we couldn’t have done it without you!

Field Agent UK is now under new ownership and we have lots of exciting jobs in the pipeline - offering a mix of in home surveys and store visits. We appreciate your patience while we bring in more jobs for you.

To get started, please update your profile. This helps us bring in jobs that are a right match for you.

Please see the "Cash Out" job for inquiries about previous balances. "

Field Agent didn't close, the licence held by One Flat Earth was given up, but, FA licence was transferred to another licensee in the UK...

Apologies for the misunderstanding [member=2821]mabozza[/member] - they actually sent a message to [member=1]Jon[/member] saying that they would technically closing on the 1st Feb :) So it wasn't very clear when I wrote my post above.

No apology necessary LOL, it was the guys that run T360 that held the FA licence, they were giving it up, but had posted an email address of the new licensee (which i can't remember) anyways he has already taken over the licence to operate as FA (FYI for anyone who wishes to continue using FA you need to re-register and do a couple of mandatory registration tasks that will be on the tasks screen, then you are good to go) I was in Australia a few months ago and signed up to FA Oz there was loads of tasks, so hopefully, the UK one will be good too.

This is probably for the best. Used to love Field Agent but then everything(good) got moved to T360. I haven't done a job on Field Agent for probably close to a year even though I made almost a grand on it previously. The mystery shopping tasks were not my thing at all. At least now if someone else has taken over, it will get more attention and have more jobs. T360 will still be the best though I'm sure imo.

Hi!

Per this thread, I'm thinking about investing in a cheap 2nd hand PAYG iPhone for the sole purpose of running the Field Agent and Task360 apps, but won't bother if there aren't many tasks in the Oxford area.

https://www.themoneyshed.co.uk/index.php?topic=7482.0

Could another Oxford/ish resident using those apps comment on how frequently local tasks pop up?

Thanks!

This is such a tricky question to answer as the work is completely DYNAMIC

It's not up to the apps, it's up to the Clients using the app!

As Jon says... all apps are totally dependant on what their clients want to do... I don't stay near Oxford but do tasks all over the UK and have done quite a few around Oxford last year... Field Agent...no one knows what the new licensee will bring as for T360, you will get the monthly Blades and maybe the RS McColl monthly tasks if still going as well as any manner of other tasks which may or may not be handy for you...normally I would say to anyone thinking of getting a cheap 2nd hand IPhone for this work to go for it...on the proviso that you are willing/able to travel around for tasks, but, if you are just staying local it may or may not be worthwhile for you (I covered the cost of my IPhone in 2 days, but that was covering a fair few miles) Do you have an Ipad?? that you could tether or use shop Wifi and test the waters with that... T360 are remaining IPhone only, I believe FA are going to be available on android this year

I sent Field Agent an email today with a few questions, and suggested they are decimating the users they could have by restricting it to Ios with obviously FAR more people using Android (And of course IMO Android and ANY phone is better than an IPhone LOL) Anyway, by some way of a reply they have put another questionnaire task on the app tonight, asking do you prefer home based jobs (non paying but with "rewards") or Field based tasks with renumeration, also asks would you prefer they opened up on Android (as well as continuing Ios) Catch 22 here is as I know a great many people don't have an IPhone and aren't willing to get one just for this work... so they cant sign up and have their say on the app!, If any current users do agree that they should have it on Android (even to help others who can't get in on it) then please fill out the questionnaire on the app... IF you have no IPhone and wish to join via your Android device fire off an email to uksupport@fieldagent.net saying so. They are saying that some home based survey (unpaid?) jobs should appear on app next week.

Posted on the reporting thread but for those not subscribed paid tasks now on the app... Costco furniture audit £12.50 one in London...no idea if any more and tile app display audit £4 looks like Maplins and John Lewis nationwide ...plus there is a survey on app with £100 voucher prize for one user.

For anyone who hasn't done any tasks yet on the app under new owners.. tasks are straight forward and fairly easy...however...word of caution.. there is no "back" button... so if you make a mistake you can't go back and correct it... and it will be rejected... I daresay you might be able to abandon task and re take it...haven't tried it myself to see though...best advice is carefully read each question as you go (FYI I have now done quite a few of the tile app jobs and not once seen the display asked for)
