Brilliant! Well done @hkjacks! Was it fairly straightforward? I’m going to start reading the docs and take advantage of the extra time I’ve got!;)

It took me quite a while to be honest but I just really took my time and referred to the guidelines. It was fairly straight forward, I read each question a couple of times before answering it. ☺

I was wondering how you were getting on @hkjacks sorry to hear that. I’m starting Friday but still wondering if it’s worth all the pain!!

The 3rd exam was hard but to be honest I think I just didn't give myself enough time to understand the guidelines for the last part. I'm gutted but wondering what to do next. Good luck with yours, I think it will be well worth it if you can get through the exam!

Do you think it makes more sense once you are going through the training stuff? I’m shying away because it looks so complicated, but I guess once you’re in the midst of it, it makes more sense? I’d love to know the earning potential as it’s per task I think.
You never know, they might offer you a second go...fingers crossed.
Have you applied for Leapforce?

Project Yukon?

You're paid by the hour, not per task

I take it these are still taking applicants? I've just done a speed test and got 82WPM, I knew I was fast but I'm quite impressed, gonna look into how I can apply to these!

I've just been invited for the Lionbridge mapping exam too. Also interested in earning potential. How long after getting the email inviting you to take the exam did it take for you to do it?

I've applied for this but have no experience of this type of work so am not feeling optimistic ... can I ask how long it took from applying to getting an exam invite?

Applied Saturday afternoon, got the email yesterday evening so pretty quickly. Have been told my exam window is from this Friday to next Friday so going to revise over the weekend and do it next week.

Well done and good luck!
I've not heard anything back yet so perhaps I don't have the right credentials for it.

Is this for social media or web search evaluator work? I can't do social media stuff as don't have Facebook etc (and yes, Jon I have looked into it but would need 25 'friends' on it, so pointless for me to apply).

I feel like contacting these firms to complain that just because I don't have the correct criteria, doesn't make me incompetent at judging adverts or whatever else is required, grrrrr

The Lionbridge maps assessor is basically when you search for say a business, McDonald’s in Leeds, and you get a search result to say where the address, coordinates are. It’s all about the users intent to find particular places of interest/addresses/businesses. Can’t really be more specific than that. Nearly 200 pages of info and there’s guidance on the guidance. First part of the exam is not too bad: 20 questions based on the guidance, so most answers are there although some are a bit ambiguous. Part 2 is 50 questions of practical tasks. I lost the plot and my patience and the will, therefore failed o_O

Do you think it is worth me applying to Lionbridge then if I don't have any social media accounts?

You might as well apply for the maps one if you’re prepared to sit down and read like the wind! You don’t need social media for this. It’s still advertised so go for it!!
