seems odd as they said if i completed the test etc before today they would pay an extra incentive. Sounded like they were desperate for more people rather than less

I had the email offering an extra incentive to complete the mystery shopping test before yesterday aswell and have just had the email to start Monday. Will see how long it lasts.

They certainly haven't jumped through any (spaghetti) hoops for you. Perhaps you should Penne a stern letter (I'll get my coat...)

I've not been paid today either after being dumped into the "reserve pool". I usually always get paid on a Friday. I'll give them until Monday then log a ticket.

I’m still waiting on 1 payment from the may mystery shopping task too that’s stuck in the system. I don’t have any current Lionbridge tasks this month now

Yes, I'm in the mystery shopping campaign for June, but it's my first one so I've just spent over an hour reading this thread to prepare myself....!

Does anyone know if you can skip the ad on the mystery shopper task if you can't buy the product? It's coming up the merchant account is restricted?

It's the same if I try to pay with card or paypal

Did you get their email yesterday with the best practice information?

If you skip it, you could categorise the reason under the "unsafe website category," but I would take a few screenshots to prove you tried to pay. If the merchant account is restricted, it sounds a bit unsafe to me! I think the important thing is that you categorise it under the right heading.

I have taken screenshots to say I tried to pay. I only briefly went over the best practice info so will go and have a look thank you. I've been doing it with guidelines open but it's taking a while.

I'm trying to pay by credit card where I can so i have a bit of cover.

I suspect I will never receive a couple of items I ordered in May. I messaged them today and received no replies. Then I looked at reviews for them on Trustpilot and it’s full of people saying they never received anything for their money and nobody ever replies. Surprised that Lionbridge are bothering with such scam sites.
