I have applied with a few jobs on Appen and just joined Lionbridge. Fingers crossed I hear back for something
Best of luck! I have my exam next week....Singed up to Lionbridge last week, they emailed me two days ago to say a job came up that was a match for me. I have just got an email through one with 160page guidelines and the other with the training materials and link to exam. Has anyone any tips? do i need to read the guidelines or can i go straight to the training?
Any passes or fails? good/bad experiences? I really want this so fingers crossed.
Oh and one more thing can you still work with Appen if you work for Lionbridge?
TIA
Laura
great advice hereFor the first part, keep the PDF open and when it asks you the question, use the search bar in the guidelines to find the answer.
And for the second and third part, try not to second guess yourself too often. If you assign a rating, just submit it. The first and second time I did the best, I was so worried about which answer to put. For the third time, I just picked the rating and moved on to the next one - and then I passed.
It’s normal for leapforce so I would assume it’s nornwl for lionbridgePeople working for Lionbridge, is it normal to get an email about quality review within a month of the job? Or does that mean I've been rating badly?
Sorry to hear thatI've just failed part 2 of the Lionbridge maps exam...oh well!
Do you know how I could go about retaking? It said there isn’t an option toSorry to hear that
Hopefully you get to retake
Don’t think you get an option to retake the map exam from what I can remember when I applied, it was one try only.Do you know how I could go about retaking? It said there isn’t an option to

I'm on the Nile project on leapforce and I tend to make about £115/month from half hour work a day. I tend to sit and do it while my fiancee sits and watches Neighbours! It's easy but can be very dull indeed. Is it actually worth joining with the amount of time/effort to get in ... how high are the rewards?
