Did my first day rating. Everything took twice as long because I was trying to figure things out. Hopefully things will get easier faster

It gets easier with time. It seems like and English language krypton factor style game after a while - trying to find different phrases to use.

No I’m doing the WSE job.

Just got an email through to complete documentation for an Internet Assessor post and it says some people find the exam hard and study time/taking exam could take up to 10 hours. I sat the map analyst one before and knew it wasn’t for me when I was doing the exam but this one says that you only get to try it once.

I’ll complete all the items they’ve asked and see if I hear further about the exam but just wondered what one you had started with.

This was my first and only application. That’s what the exam I did said originally but they gave me 3 shots at it. If it’s the same exam it’s long. And a lot of reading.

Well I got the guidelines for the Map analyst job. All I can say is wow  Please tell me the Social Media Evaluator gig is not as complicated? I definitely am giving up on the maps! I’ve just spent an hour reading the guidelines and I’m still none the wiser. Some things just aren’t for me;)

Are you doing the rating work through Messenger or Instagram - if so then you have to complete the comments box each time.

If your doing the other Internet Assessor job then I’m not sure but would guess they are looking for this box to be completed to compile as much feedback as possible.

Yeah the maps one is not an easy exam!

The social media rating job is very straightforward and the tests for this were easy. There is another job available for Internet Assessors which I applied for - I get access to the exam next Wednesday so not sure how it will be as they say to give myself up to 10 hours to study paperwork and complete the exam. The examples of the work required looks straightforward though so not sure if the initial stage to get through is the biggest hurdle but we will see.

The exams do seem a little excessive for what is essentially not much above minimum wage work.

I’m the other Internet Assessor Job. I emailed and they said comments are not required. But it is good to see why you rate the pages. So now if it’s straightforward I don’t. How the heck the expect you to rate all the blocks in 6/7 mins I don’t know. Considering you have research some of the YMYL EAT pages.

If it’s anything like SME then thoughts and prayers. 168 pages or more

It brings in a few grand a year (I think I earned around £8-10k a year from it when I was doing it) so it’s not to be sniffed at and the good thing is that even if a task has an allotted time of 20mins and you do it in 2 you still get paid for all 20 :)

Even the social media rating work we are all doing takes about 10minutes a day for £3600 a year :)

As someone who doesn't use Facebook, instagram etc. I don't think I couldf have got on that one. In fact I miss out on a few things from not having a Facebook account, but I will never have one. I've got a text to do the exams for the internet assessor one but just a case of getting motivated for the slog.

Mine seems to be fine. 2 hours work available most evenings. 20mins here or there during the day.

Uninstalled messenger / Facebook and reinstalled and all fine now :)
I do that now every night due to my 3 ad thing a few weeks back. Yeah adds 5 minutes onto my reviews but it works all the time so I’ve just stuck with it
