I think you're looking at being paid a couple of months in arrears with LB. You should be able to get that info on your account pages.

Hi all!

I'm looking on the Lionbridge website and I was just wondering which one is better to do: The personalised internet assessor or the social media evaluator?

Personally I would say the social media one is an easier one to do and apart from a couple of blips, I’ve had work every day to complete. I’ve recently sat the exam for the personalised internet assessor one and it’s not an easy exam and I think the pay rate is not great given the work you need to do compared to the social media one. The social media one is an hour every day (doesn’t take me an hour to complete) and the other one states 10-20 hours a week but I can’t confirm if that actually happens or not as I decided that it wasn’t for me. I think there is a few people on here doing the internet assessor one so they might be able to give you an insight into the work available etc.

This I’m actually sorry I didn’t just apply for this. The jobs are only half like the ones on the guidelines. Then you need read another 2/3 guidelines on the spot after you start. The work so sporadic. Today I was online all day and I got an hour’s work. Finished at 4pm and then work starts coming in around 5/6pm. It’s just really random, I started at the beginning of the month and I’ve yet to do 10hrs in week. Also you have to have an 80% average in all your ratings. Anything less and you risk getting sacked. They used to give a 3 month trial but I’ve seen people on other posts saying they’ve been sacked after a month.

I agree with this. I do the work but for Ap. We get reviewed and I get meets standard one week and substandard the next but am not doing anything differently! Also they can be very unforgiving about not making minimum time. I can be free to do work all day and nothing turns up and then about 11pm I start getting work notifications. I don't like this aspect as we all have lives to live as well, dinner to cook etc I get the feeling they think it's reasonable for workers to be available 24hours to do tasks. I have been doing this for about 5 months but I'm not sure how much longer I can cope with it.

Thanks for your reply!

I was going through the social media application and I noticed they want you to link your Facebook and Instagram accounts. Do they do anything with this? Or are they just looking to see if you're a real person haha! If not, then can I just create a new account and just use that?

You need to rate the ads through Messenger (for Facebook) or Instagram depending which one they assign you to so will need accounts. I think initially it’s to verify who you are and that you will have social media activity going on as this is what generates the ads as far as I understand. I’m sure there is probably people on here that started off with new accounts.

I don’t care for the reworded Lionbridge email that makes it sound like you’ve withdrawn cash when you haven’t lol

I'm going to try my other accounts and see what happens! Haha!

Thanks for your help! :)
