Hello! It is me again! :-[ Me passing the exam coincided with the beginning with my holiday abroad. I tried to log in and give it a go from abroad but I was warned by Leapforce not to do it. So now 2 weeks are passed and I am at complete loss how to make a start. My mind is not working well after so much beach and sun! It seems like an information minefield and I don't know how to begin. The only right thing I have done so far (I think) is to install the required add-on. Can someone point me to the right direction what should I do first. Maybe someone who actually currently works on the Yukon.

you can only do 60mins a day anyway when you first start until you have done a set number of hours so just take it easy and push on ;)

never let fear hold you back with anything!!

[member=2166]bouboumum[/member] Agree with Jon you'd better start working (you need to do 200 tasks in a rolling 30 day period - they may be a bit more lenient as you're new, I don't know, but you'll need to get that task up pretty quick either way).

Also, have a look at the simulators and the Academy - really helpful at getting up to speed with what you're going and improve your quality. Get on social/chat as well - there is a rater called Grampa that has a load of helpful info on his social page for new raters (PM if you need help on finding).

Keep an accurate timesheet of all tasks you do - both task AET and time it takes you to do it - as you'll need for when you prepare your invoice (and to check you're over 200 tasks a month) I do this both by hand and with the help of RaterAid addon.

Tasks are daunting when you start but you'll improve really quickly! Good luck!!

Thanks for your answers guys. I have read about this productivity requirements but I don't understand how this can be done. For instance, I am allowed from what understand to work only 1 hour per day being a beginner evaluator. That means I can average 6 tasks per day according to the suggested estimated time per task. 30 days x 6 tasks are 180 tasks?!? Can I achieve these 200 tasks threshold by doing simulator tasks? Also what exactly the term "a rolling 30 day period" mean. I am sorry, I possibly sound idiotic! :-(

Don't worry about the 200 tasks whilever you are only able to work an hour a day - they will take that into consideration. Sims don't count, so just do your hour and concentrate on the quality and worry about building up volume of tasks once you get to unrestricted status

Some tasks take 1 minute

Do 200 of them and you are done

Invoice and payment is all done within the Leapforce backoffice system. Everything is explained to you don't worry

Yes of course you pay tax on all your earnings, same on all 'working from home' thing apart from Matched Betting ;)

Thanks Jon - thought that would be the case. Is that all done online with the HMRC?

Seem like matched betting combined with leapforce and prolific academy is the best strategy to start with.

Do you have any advice on mug betting, I haven't done any as of yet because I am just doing the sign ups, but just thing of a strategy when it comes to doing the re-load bets.

Thanks you

yes you register online with HMRC and just submit your tax return each year

Mug betting - just do it alongside each RELOAD offer, not really the thread for MBing discussion though ;)
