It seems to be really random. Sometimes I forget I have it installed at all, so then it's a nice surprise when it pops up. It's a "slow burner" for sure and you're only earning pennies, but it's relatively effortless - and to be honest I have genuinely come across useful sites through Qmee that I maybe wouldn't have encountered otherwise.

I would say my biggest Qmee haul (we're still talking about pennies here!) has come from searching within eBay when I've been researching items similar to those I'm about to list for auction, eg I did very well from "shoe horn", and other similarly bizarre items

Well I think there is a lesson to be learnt here by my behaviour whilst using Qmee.
Its been three days now and not a peep from them, so make sure if you open one of their links that you navigate around a bit and don't do like I did and just click on them all and not bother navigating around the opened page.

Thanks
Mark

Don't lose heart Mark. It's common to go several days without it popping up.

When it does appear you'll know what to do - just follow the advice Jon and BlackPepper have provided. A little rummage around the suggested site, then return to your original search and usually you can repeat this once or twice more with alternative sites they suggest. Perhaps from time to time bookmark any site that looks interesting.

I think I may have made a similar mistake to you in the early days - I tried too hard, and got a discrete message suggesting I stick to normal searching habits! The search terms they pick up on can be quite obscure and often take you by surprise.

Mark,

I'm sure it will come back into play and start offering you clicks based on your natural habbits.

When it goes, it really does go and you should be able to gain from it every day as it pays out. It's a nice easy way of earning money online without really doing anything as such.

I had a little faith restored today when its tarted flashing and when I looked it was telling me to invite my friends for 50p a friend (payable when they make their first cash out) I guess they haven't totally forgot about me.
And I have had 4 friends sign up via facebook so that's a few £'s

Cheers

Yeah it's good when it just randomly pops up and pays out

Hopefully you will have a lot more of it doing that now

Yes indeed Jon

It popped up again today, a little random though, I was searching on eBay for "mug press" and a load of Qmee adds popped up trying to sell me books lol

Anyway I thought it would be rude to ignore them so clicked the lot, only this time one at a time and a little navigating around each of them.

Upto £0.74 now, which is ok its money for nothing so thanks for the link :)_

More online money to be made

You aught to slow down on those Qmee earnings lad lol

I know there are quite a few similar of these type of plugins that let you earn cash as you browse but I have always found Qmee the least intrusive of any of them and the amount of products it pops up on has certainly increased since a year ago so they are obviously getting 'in' with more suppliers/providers

£1.05 now, and eBay is where it always pops up ;)

What are these other sites/plugins you talk of, and has anyone run more than one of these companies in the same browser at once ?

Cheers

Just signed up and gor £0.16 already ;)

This time next year......................................

Seriously, Ilike things like this, you can forget you have it on and just do what you were doing anyway.

Indeed it could take some time to pay off the mortgage using this method, but it all adds up I guess

Tip:
Qmee seems to love eBay searches, so pop over there and start searching they will soon pop up.

Keywords that have worked for me this week is:

Sublimation
Little Tikes
Mug Press

All three of those whilst searching eBay have thrown up Qmee results

Good Luck

Re: Qmee - Earn money online for going window shopping

yeah eBay and amazon results seem to give out some good results I have noticed in the last few weeks. Better than just regular Google searches.

Just cashed out £8 with them yesterday

That's an impressive amount for relatively little input. And as you've said elsewhere - it's not intrusive and doesn't appear to slow your browser. Not in my experience anyway

Re: Qmee - Earn money online for going window shopping

Can you choose which browser this works on? Well really I am asking if you can choose one it doesn't work on. I work as an internet judge and sometimes have to judge adult content which at times can be explicit and I wouldn't want the people behind this app to think that is my personal choice! I work on IE for this but when not working I use Firefox and chrome.

Hi Lynnie,

I am pretty sure when you install it you can select which browser it runs of.

If I am wrong then it doesn't matter anyway as you could just disabled Qmee as a plugin running on that browser ;)
