Quidco is a really great site that lets your earn cashback on things you buy. Earned over £400 since I joined by buying what I was going to do anyway! Great cashback offers on lots of online stores and things like mobile phone contracts.

http://www.quidco.com/user/24705/1802047/

You get £1 for joining. I get £1.50

Money soon adds up as there are over 4000 retailers.

I've been with Quidco for years and done quite well with them, but I recently resurrected my dormant TopCashBack account and have done well with them too. So now I always compare the two - and also check that there aren't better deals to be had by going direct to the supplier or haggling in a shop. We have a smaller independent electrical store in our High Street who are always open to a good haggle if you present them with your online research! They grin when they see me coming with my sheaf of printouts!

It's a shame they got rid of the check-in facility though. Used to pay for my coffee at the metro centre!

Does quidco generally pay better than topcashback?

Maybe there are other cashback sites beyond those two that i don't know about

Handy to compare between Topcashback and Quidco just in case. Now Quidco have a survey site Quidco Opinions.
Don't know if it is going to be any good but still I have joined it since I am a member of Quidco anyway.

Yep, I've earn't over £1100 over the last few years and I have friends who are well over £2000. Problem is remembering to use them when buying stuff, I have amended many of the 'favourites' in the browser to point to Quidco instead of Flybe or Accor Hotels or whatever.

Hi All,

Signed up for Quidco and TopCashBack yesterday evening. Am I right in thinking that if you don't order the items via the website online, you can also upload your receipts?

I've literally spent a fortune refurbing and furnishing my new home. Most of the retailers that I've bought from are showing on the Quidco and TopCashBack sites. I have been buying since March 2014 and have saved all of my receipts. Can I upload my receipts and claim some cash back or are there rules around when you need to claim?

Thanks in advance.

As far as I am aware the whole process needs to be done online via the chosen cashback sites referral link. So for example, if you like the insurance quote you got on TCB you have to continue to buy it online, you can't finish the sale over the phone for example. So no I don't think you can upload receipts to get the cashback.

Quidco accepts uploaded receipts for certain merchants - look for them in the dedicated "Instore" section. I've done it a couple of times. However, I very much doubt they would accept receipts retrospectively. They might say your purchases must have taken place after you signed up. Worth a try maybe? Let us know how you get on

I bought something with Dunelm Mill via Quidco yesterday. It hasn't yet tracked to my account. Last time I bought via Next and Argos it was pretty immediate. I'm new to this site so not sure whether I should be reporting a missing transaction a day later or whether some stores take a bit more time?

Remember to download their app ClickSnap - but beware, it's partnered with CheckoutSmart so you can't claim for an item you've bought off both sites

LOVE Quidco - we have been members for a few years and always check it out when buying online. Ordering clothes from M&S or Asda pays 4% - 5% cashback and we got £100 cashback on our buildings/contents insurance this year too.

I got £35 or something from booking a holiday with otbeach, and that has been paid even though I haven't been on the holiday yet.

Only £10 from First Choice tho, and the holiday cost over £3k. Unimpressive First Choice! Imagine 10% on that one.

I currently use The Utility Warehouse to get cashback - I don't get cash but I get it taken off my monthly bills. I am going to take a look at using Quidco AND the UW cashback card to see if I can get extra cashback.. will keep you posted!

You may have an issue if you are already an existing customer, most cashback sites like you to be a new customer when you use them as the portal site

It may be an idea to maybe re-sign up to UW via someone else in your houses name if that is the case
