I've noticed I have a roamler code to give out. Just wondering if I get a referral bonus for giving it out?

You get £2 when whoever you give it to reaches L2 then you get 2% of all they earn... try choose wisely who you give them to... i have given out about 25.. only 2 have reached L2.. and both lasted just a few days before going dormant.

New to roamler - so many tasks in my area. There a bud light check for £12 which expires in a few days. is that standard price or have they raised it you think?

It's been raised. I think they were originally £7

Tbh... no real point.. i ask "are you serious about doing Roamler?" Oh yes they reply.. itching to get going....... then they dont lol... think the trouble is folk think Roamler has thousands of really simple high paid tasks in their local shopping centre.. then see a 25 minute 100 photo tomato task in Asda for £2 as the only one nearby in reality

Did a task in Tesco this morning. Doing a check on how many Star Wars collectible items they have (I refuse to call them toys). Not a bad task and discovered that if you put a 0 in for the prices of items that were out of stock and told roamler at the end that you'd done this they were happy to approve (I was a bit worried as loads of things weren't in stock!). To be fair the initial instructions may have told me to do this but I didn't spot it if they did!

I have just started Roamler - would people say it's worth doing the lower paying offers is possible just to build up and gain access to the better paying tasks?

Just try to get to level 2 then everything will be opened up to you .

Hi David,

I may be wrong but I do not think doing lower paid tasks will unlock any higher paid tasks. I would do the tasks that suit you, my main criteria is how close it is to my location and how much work it requires. For example, if they are asking for 100 photos for 2 quid I would say no regardless of whether it was on my doorstep or not haha

Yes I do get that, though, I was in Romford last night and there were ones that were paying £12 so I guess it depends if it's worth it for you.

Like today, I'm going to do one of the "experience" ones because I also get a free Costa via Three and do one of the supermarket ones, but whether it's financially worth it is probably a no - ha!

Oh Romford you say? Scrap my earlier advice.

I say don't do any jobs in that area, all rubbish....

Nothing to do with me operating in that area or anything....... haha

I think and (@mabozza may correct me here if I'm wrong) that there are some jobs that are only available to level 4 and higher. So building up your experience could be worth it. Although to be honest the vast majority of jobs are available at level 2.

I think you are correct about that... there was certainly some this summer (first time i was aware of that) as for doing the lower paid jobs... sure..why not...but many are really hard to do/not worth the effort... my first 6 months i did everything going... flew up the levels quite quickly... also it can be worth doing the unpaid tasks to build your xp ... the added bonus every time you reach a new level you get invites to give out and hopefully get money for nothing.

I agree. A lot of the tasks I have seen do seem to be a bit tedious for the amount of money obtained, but it could be whether a user can compress a lot of the jobs and do them in one hit, which can be difficult sometimes.

Some of those lower paying jobs do end up becoming higher paying jobs as they get closer to Roamlers own submission deadlines as well of course. But I've not quite worked out how to identify jobs that are likely to increase in value (I'm lucky in that there's not really any other roamlers in my area so I can take my pick of jobs)

I would be surprised if there was a lot in my area: the jobs available seem to still be available a few days later if that makes any difference at all.

But for me is it worth the five mile round trip in my car for £3 - I'm not sure?

Of course, there's always the chance your submission could get rejected, too.
