Thought it would be good to have a chat thread for others using Roamler.

Has anyone noticed that a lot of the convenience store checks are permanently closed? I did 7 yesterday in 2 hours - 3 permanently closed, 2 retailer refused, 2 actually successful (but one made a comment about the Cadbury rep never coming any more). I'm starting to think that these are the stores Mondelez used to have contact with and has lost touch with for whatever reason.

**Please note that this thread is not for asking for Roamler codes**

I have to admit I prefer the ones where I don't have to speak to anyone, but I can often get 3 done in an hour... £18ph is worth it!

I've found I get a better response during the convenience store missions when I announce myself as a mystery shopper rather than leaving the job title vague. In one case "that's a shame, because I don't get paid if you're unable to help" got some cooperation. No flying tins of beans, though sometimes there are advantages to being female and physically unthreatening - people tend not to start fights!

I’ve done about 50 of these tasks now, had 2 refusals. 6 permanent closures. I just dress a little smarter and smile. When I say I only need to take photos of their sweets they agree. I then ask the other questions as I’m doing it so they don’t realise it’s part of the task! Actually planning to do a few more tomorrow as they’re near where I’ve got to drop husband for a course. Planning my route means I can do 3-4 in an hour. And it’s easy money really!

Hello
As anyone else had the tea training exercise for Roamler. I got rejected on this but no specifics given. Has anyone else been rejected? It is also a pain as you can only do this in a Tesco. I don't mind the 1.5 mile walk ( I don't drive ) but to walk and get a rejection is dispiriting, especially as it could happen again. Sods Law it's not Asda which is just 20mins walk away! Wondered how others went on with this task please?

Is anyone else's rankings totally blank? Mine always has been and tech support haven't got back to me. I had an email saying I came 24th last month even though I only did my first assignment on 15th Nov so I'm evidently higher than I imagined.

Yep, it's not been working for a couple of weeks. I'm not bothered about my own ranking but it's useful to see if the other taskers in my city are doing much.

Morning! I'm hoping to grab a few j20 tasks today, anyone completed these before? Any tips on avoiding rejections? It's been a while since I've used the task apps. Thanks.
