Where does it say you cannot use a 4s? I myself use a 5, but that's cos I have one already. If I was to go out and buy one for this purpose, I would look at a 5s, but dont put people off by telling them they cant use less than a 5s.
It doesn't specifically say you cant use a 4s, if you use anything less than a 5s the picture quality is not good enough and most will get rejected, no point having a tool tat isn't fit for the purpose.

Then my apologies... I was told here on TMS that 5s was the minimum due to having a better camera when I was about to buy one.

I have a 5 and it takes pictures that dont get rejected - it has the same megapixels as a 5s

Nope - it has better iSight but that's all.

Boo hoo you can now earn more money lol

Only reason. People at work know how much I dislike apple, and now I've been labeled a hypocrite. Oh well. They'll see. This time next year, I'll be a millionaire.... maybe.

Hello, and Thanks for the chance to join, and hopefully make some money! I am going to have a good read of all the posts. I would like to ask a question about Roamler if I may? How do you go about getting the invitation code? I have read you may get it after posting 10 times, can anyone tell me if that is correct? Thanks

Nice surprise on Roamler this morning.. they had Playstation 4 checks for £1.50. I've never come across PS4 ones before. I thought they were all Xbox One. Just wondering if these are a regular.. does anyone know?

Please tell me the paid tasks get easier to do! I did my first paid one today - the banana check and it was quite stressful to do as I probably shouldn't have tried it on a bank holiday saturday for a start! store was very busy, there was a staff member putting bananas out when I first arrived, so wandered off for a bit then came back, then had to wait till there were no people in view of the pic...then it was quite hard to get a good view point as there were A Lot of bananas in this particular store. I felt self conscious but nobody noticed what I was doing, so I guess there's a lesson there. Has anyone ever been caught doing tasks? two aisles later and I noticed security...felt like I'd done something wrong though I haven't lol!!

I got pulled up by security doing this task. Asked why I was taking photos. You WILL get asked/challenged/refused permission at some stage doing this stuff. It's as much how you react to that whether or not you want to keep doing it. Having said that, it's often not actually as bad as you might think. For instance, when I explained that I was doing a bit of mystery shopping and referred them to Roamler they were fine about it.

I agree Its how you react if challenged but more about how you go about the task aswell. Use your phone at full arms stretch and you will be noticed take a photo as if you were sending a text and the chances are no one will give you a second glance. Keep your phone on silent and switch the flash off.

If you are challenged be upfront - your a mystery shopper and how good are you for spotting it!!!. I have to admit some tasks especially in small independent shops I tell them what I'm doing say i'm working on behalf of Robinsons or whoever and is it ok if I record some general survey info then use my IPAD as it looks more professional get good photos and all's ok!!!!

Good advice above.. and yes... It does get easier!! As above look.like your texting..stick earbuds in and talk to a imaginary caller even... All makes holding phone look natural... its quite normal to feel self conscious because you are being sneaky... but only you know what your doing... as for people getting in the way... wait till you do one in the booze aisle!! Busiest aisles in the supermarket

Help please! I've done all the tasks that are available on L1 and I still don't have enough points to move up - they have all been accepted though. Will more just appear once the last one I did (the magazine advert) has been checked?

Banana one was fine - apart from the first little Tesco I tried had satsumas in the banana holders, and no bananas anywhere in the store... luckily there are loads of Tesco Expresses near work so I just went to the next one.

The levels are a bit misleading on Roamler. Once you're off Level 1 onto Level 2 then I haven't discovered much difference between levels. It isn't really a case of complete all L1 tasks, move up to L2 and you get a load of new tasks. Once you've completed new tasks then you need to wait for Roamler to release new tasks and then you can move on up. I'm so close to Level 4, but I'm not sure it'll make any difference. TBH I don't really both doing the tasks you don't get paid for unless I'm bored. It's a waste of time.

The difference between level 2 and all higher levels is the amount of jobs you can reserve and how many invites you have... but level 1 gets no paid jobs and you simply have to complete every task in level 1 then every open job (paid) becomes open to you... I too don't bother with the unpaid tasks after level 1 and have just reached level 5 after 4 months using it.

Now you are level 2 you will see live paid tasks... Roamler is very quiet just now there is only maybe 50 odd jobs in the whole of the UK at the moment
..more will come in due course... All the apps are dead right now... I have only made about £50 so far this week....normally about £100 by this point over all the apps. The unpaid tasks don't really do a lot for you... you will see the exact same jobs that I can see and do... only difference is I can reserve 5 at a time you can only reserve 2
