They want loads of pictures! It was £3 on my app.

1 photo of all confectionary
1 photo of just a particular brand of sweet
1 photo of the oldest use-by-date
1 photo of the newest use-by-date

And there are 6 confectionary brands per store.

And they expect you to do it incognito.

I literally live next door to a tesco express and did one of the £3 con tasks earlier, It took me 30 mins and was rejected. Roamler said the quality of photo's was not good enough. It's tough to take good quality photo's of shiny packets incognito in a busy supermarket!! I won't be trying again unless there is s significant increase in price.

A few of the items had only one expiry date, I took a photo of two items with the same expiry details. They said this was acceptable.

Roamler is quite busy just now, but, nothing really great on TBH, i did some yesterday while doing T360 Now TV jobs, found that many had Roamler tasks in same store (Some £7 flower checks and £2 chocolate tasks) those aside i had'nt done a Roamler task in 3 weeks
Hi, could someone please explain roamler to me and how it works?

Hi, could someone please explain roamler to me and how it works?

Sure.

Companies use Roamler to get a physical check on their products or services, or to carry out market research.

Example. Lets say Choccy McChocface have launched a new range of chocolates with Tesco. Part of the product launch agreed with Tesco is they will display their products on promotion ends with promotional posters.

Choccy McChocface want to check all the Tesco store are stocking their products as promised. It would cost too much for them to send a representative to every store so they use Roamler to check for them.

Roamler put the jobs up on their app for their "roamlers" (us) to complete. When you see a job in your area you want to do you accept it on the app and then have 2 hours to complete it. The job will be something like go to tesco, check the products are stocked and take photos of the posters and the products on the shelves. A job like this usually pays around £3 but can go up higher later on. Once they get all the information back Roamler collate it and report back to the client.

Other types of jobs can be like mystery shops or price checking. They are nearly always retail based things.

I have a code spare if you need one by the way. Just PM me.

They've just jumped to £8 but the attached PDF runs to 9 pages of info to find out.

Edit - Mike replied with the same info at the same time as me.

Looks like a full mystery shopping report to me and could take in excess of an hour with the report and visit. Going to have to get into the double figures for me to get involved. £4 was insult and £8 is still too low.

I have just gotten my point up to level 2 so am able to start earning! How often have people had bad experiences doing tasks like this?

I've read some horror stories about employees kicking off at people for taking photos in their shops so I'm feeling slightly nervous

I have had tinned vegetables flung at me!!!! LOL.. The likes of big supermarkets, you could do tasks and even if a staff member/security spotted you they would likely not bat an eyelid, Wee corner shops can be very different, they assume you are price checking to send data to their competitors. Gauge the task, read thru the brief, see what is required of you, if it sounds nigh on impossible its probs not worth your time/effort. Worth noting that 9 times out of 10 on Roamler if the task is not incognito and has an LOA, the LOA is a chocolate fireguard... carries no authority whatsoever. Personally i NEVER do tasks in corner shops anymore, incognito or not, you tend to be getting watched like a hawk by shopkeeper.
