Has anyone done the fix JBL check task?
I looked at those and saw someone in there trying to assemble stuff when I was out on assignment - thought they are offering way to little on the fee side yet it should be at least £12-£15 before considering venturing out - but good luck if you want to try your hand or should I say screwdriver at this one. Best:)

Just done it. But I turned up to find the speakers had been stolen! So they weren’t in favour of putting another one up.

Nope the ones on display. I just fed back that I couldn’t put them up, took a picture of the empty display stand and earned myself a tenner

Fixed a few of these JBL speakers - not surprised you say some were stolen - the store doesn't alarm them in like the other speakers and the display is flimsy so doesn't take much to remove the speakers even if you screw them in tightly.

Sometimes they are if someone did original task... here is a cheeky wee tip.. if near one..pop in.. best at a busy time.. take a look for the display.. if not there also look around the speakers area.. if it looks like there is no room for one..most often they will tell you there is no room and they have no time.. report that back to T360 and yoi will get paid... am £110 to the good doing this (however.. be prepared in case they really want to get this up.. so factor in time and a screwdriver!!)

I set the whole thing up from scratch - stand already built with speaker stands - all you have to is tighten as sometimes can have become loose during transit - hence need for Phillips head screwdriver. Then just case of using Allen key to attach speakers.
My greatest difficulty has been overcoming the reluctance of staff to number one check the speakers and stand have been delivered and then find somewhere to site the display - it's this which wastes time and makes the task sometimes not cost effective. Of 15 I have done staff were only willing to help me in one store.

LOL - good tip - I guess am a bit sad though as really enjoy doing these tasks so I always go with the intention of getting them done. My blagging, negotiation and confidence skills have gone through the roof with all the people I have to talk to - can't believe I have walked into so many pubs and convenience stores to do the beer checks for Roamler (before they started playing up)

"Started playing up" ?? Do tell????
:) Long story - a combination of asking for too much ("you should have bent over the bar to get a better photo :)") and nitpicking and rejecting tasks for obscure reasons then finally paying once their error had been pointed out - sending you to locations which have closed down and saying that they will only pay £2 for the effort - the list goes on and on. All in all figured my time best spent on other apps.

Just tried that and mine does the same. To be fair, you're probably the only tasker who actually NEEDS the whole of the UK ;)
