if you are registered as self employed and file a tax return each yeah then yesdoes anyone know if I can buy a laptop as an expense to do this freelance work? I just got on a new project that requires a laptop, I don’t have a personal laptop only one for my day job so it would be 100% work based and used for this project but would be better to separate the day job and freelance on my own laptop.
Yes I have registered and just waiting on the pin to activate my self assessment for last year (no relevant expenses for the work I did so claiming trading allowance for last tax year). This tax year I have done mystery shopping so all the items I bought will count as an expense and now I’ve just got this desktop only task I will need to buy a laptop.if you are registered as self employed and file a tax return each yeah then yes

Yes it’s a known fault. They say to just count manually but I’ve found it does stop giving you ads at 30 anywayAnyone else having issues with the ad counter on SRT? It hasn't worked since Friday, so I have just been manually counting my ad's. Though I am a bit worried the actual ad's aren't being recorded as I don't see any numbers on the User Metris page. Sent a ticket in this morning, as this is just getting annoying now.
Not sure on that one - don’t see any major reason why you couldn’t@Jon do you know if we can apply for the social media ad rating task again after a certain length of time...?
I'm sure I read somewhere that you need to wait a year? Thought you might know
