Has anyone ever returned items to wish? It sounds like they offer good returns but the item is likely to take ages to arrive

I found out why I can’t view the return option on PayPal as I have a business account. I might ask them to downgrade it as I don’t think I need any of the business features anymore and I think the rates are the same?

Hi all, got a quick question on tax. I only worked on the SME last year so am looking to complete my self assessment. I’ve done these before as I used to lease a flat but am unsure where to put these details. I phoned HMRC and they weren’t to sure which was odd as they thought I would have paid tax with Lionbridge from there base in Finland and this would have been deducted before we got paid. Anyhow i explained how it worked so they said put it on the foreign income section but there isn’t anything that feels appropriate. Wonder if anyone has done this before and has any advice.

For Lionbridge work I wouldn’t call that “foreign income” - it just comes in via PayPal and you withdraw. Add how the withdrawals back to your back account over the 12 month period and that’s the total to put in for your income

make sure to claim for any PayPal fees though!

Thanks Jon, I started off doing that way. I will look at it again tomorrow, thought as it was paid to you in dollars and if you ever got audited it would better to be in the foreign income and with Lionbridge also being based in Finland. I don’t have any other income to declare so just trying to get it logged so I can complete the self assessment for the year.

Got my rug from Ruggable yesterday. I have to say it's shite for the price. £89 for a 3ft x 2ft doormat basically. The quality claimed just isn't there and I wouldn't pay £40 for it let alone £89. I don't know how they have such great Trustpilot reviews.

They also have a shitty returns policy whereby they charge you a processing fee of £27 and you have to return it in the original or similar packaging. It came in a large cardboard tube that probably weighed more than the rug! Also, despite calling themselves Ruggable.co.uk the rug came from the US.

Please allow up to 21 working days for your refund to be processed in line with the AYBLreturn policy.

This is also annoying!

It is, but still better than the "as a small business we can't accept returns" on one of my items.

My dress today came, with a, royal mail pre paid label.
Struggling what to do with my iPhone 12 case though. No point sending it back to Finland as they deduct 30% postage is 15 quid and if they have yo collect it from the, sorting office they charge another 15

I figured out how to claim PayPal return shipping back as I have a business account I need to email them. 2 claimed now :)

I have received 1 refund so far, My crappy glass pen just arrived, not even sure I can return that. Waiting on 2 more refunds

I was actually tempted by ruggable so I’ll know to avoid in the future
