I've sold on ebay before with buying and selling, but small value items. It's too hard these days with the likes of Amazon selling so cheap with free postage. Ebay takes quite a chunk of the money and things that might sell for £2.99 end up being a loss.

Hate selling on eBay now, it is ridiculous the amount of money they take, even if something is only sold for £3 or £4. They are a complete rip off, but I still use them as at least I get something, rather than just taking clothes to the charity shop.

No, Not at all

You get shows 20 ads which you rate at the tap of a button + speak into your phone on the last question where you describe what you like or dislike about the ad.

That's it

Takes about 10mins on your phone

An easy £330 a month
It takes a lot longer now as it’s 30 ads

When I got switched from phone to computer it was much quicker. I had a set of different responses in Notepad and copied and pasted. It was either one I was interested in and looked good, or spammy, or untrustworthy, or looked unprofessional... didn't take too long at all. I'd say 20 mins a day minimum though

You are not allowed to do that and would get you kicked off for spam responses

For those of you who have sat a lionbridge internet safety evaluator exam and failed, were you given a second attempt and how long did it take for them to offer you this?

Thanks Jon, was hoping it would be a bit sooner. Have applied for the ad rating as well so if that comes up first then I'll just do that instead :)

am sure it will soon come around

Just take your time, use the guidelines and i'm sure you'll pass!

How far did you get? From memory there are 3 parts to the exam and you can't move onto the next without passing the previous (or at least that's how it used to be at Lionbridge)

It was the first exam. I was trying to do the first load of questions from memory before eventually using the guidelines which was silly but I was rushing. Google wasn't my friend.

I know, absolutely my own fault. Really hope I get something soon as my temp contract comes to an end soon and money will be tight whilst I look for something else, wait for employment checks etc.

Well I started my second attempt tonight and sat with the guidelines and passed stage 1 of the exam.
I have an interview tomorrow after work for a “real life job” so I’m going to prepare for that for a while and will probably start looking at stuff for stage 2 after the interview.
Has anyone here sat the stage 2 internet safety evaluator exam and if so any advice?
