NOTICE : This article talks about using TopCashBack to earn money but this is just one cashback site. There are many others available such as Quidco. - This is simply a Blog Post on how to use the various 'gaming sites' that are on offering via the site to your advantage.
A while ago I was after some easy money. However I didn't need the money right away and that is one thing that you have to be content with when it comes to using TopCashBack.
For those that don't know TopCashBack is a site where you can buy products and services and earn money for doing so. Most people only hit the site when it's time for Insurance renewal of some kind or maybe they are changing a utility provider but did you know that there is real money to be made here for simply playing a few games.
Looking through the site it may be that there isn't something you need right now but don't let that put you off what we are going to do here.
The first thing I should point out is that you will need a little capital. £100 would be a good start but even £50-70 should see you right for some good returns.
What I took advantage of is the gaming sites (Betting/Casino/Bingo) which offer very high returns for both new customers. Obviously to do this you have to have a slight understanding of how games like Bingo and roulette work.
The biggest thing to remember while I explain how this this works is to remember that
Cashback should never be looked at as guaranteed cash. While it mostly pays out there is the chance of your sign up not tracking through the site and you having to lodge a missing Cashback claim which can take a very long time (usually months) to resolve itself. It is also very important to follow the instructions of each Cashback to the letter. If it says you can't use your signup £10 on 50/50 odds on a roulette table then don't go and put £10 on black or odd numbers as it will invalidate your Cashback.
The first thing you need to do if you have not done is sign up to TopCashBack. It's just a regular signup process so nothing new to fear there.
Once signed go to the categories section and you will be able to select the various gaming options. We will start with Bingo since it is quite a easy game to understand and the links that TopCashBack give out don't generally really require you do to anything except just use your sign up cash.

It's all about the return...
Most of the sign ups for Bingo require you to just deposit £10 and these are the ones I would aim for at the start. It's important to check the instructions as some require you to deposit more or even worse require you to wager a certain amount of cash before they will you cash out.

Simply click on the 'Get Cashback Now' link and you will taken to the site and at that point all you need to do is follow the instructions as mentioned on the page and you should get credited with the Cashback.
As you can see what we are doing here is targeting gaming sites that offer more than we are going to risk regardless of if we are going to lose or win on the site in question. There was one casino site which offered £52 cashback with a £20 bet on roulette where the bet had to be placed on anything that had odds of a 3rd or less. I put all £20 down, the right number came up on the line I chose and I took the winnings and ran. 2 Months later I then got the £52 cashback straight through to payable so that was a great profit there.
As with most betting it is always a risk so if you do have to wager a certain amount with a bookmaker try to go for something as safe as possible as you may not be getting your cashback from the site for quite a while.

The tracking part of TopCashBack as I mentioned can either go very smoothly or as I have mentioned above be a source of great pain. To be honest I have used the site a lot and never had a cashback not claim in the end.
If the transaction has tracked correctly then you should see it appear in pending or if you are lucky maybe it will go straight into confirmed. You can then just sit back and wait for the money to roll in.
As mentioned at the very start of the post, this is no way to make money that you need urgently. However if maybe you are after some cash for Christmas and started this off during the Summer holidays it would be ideal and you would have most of the money back by then.
So give it a go. Got an evening to spare? Roll up the sleaves and earn some Cashback. It is basically money for nothing and what's better than that!.

I have been using TCB and QuidCo for a number of years.

They both pay out but I am finding I am having to log a missing cashback claims more and more.

It's not a major problem as I only use them when I renew all my insurance each year

Sounds from above that it is definitely worth trying to use the site with the gambling ones though.. Now all I need to do is learn how to gamble!!!

Been using Quidco for years too - I signed up to the gambling ones around Grand National time - there were even better deals than usual. Great way to make some money, even better if you can wait for the deals.

I have been using Topcash back and have been happy with the vast majority of purchases tracking, have missed out on quite a bit since Ebay was removed.

Have a tussle with TopCashBack at the moment.

Usually it works out in the end but when you get cashback denied it really can drag on for ages.

That's rather disappointing :(

What aspect of your claim is it they're disputing? Does the supplier normally pay out ok?

Hope you get it sorted :(

I must admit I've got a bit of an OCD thing going on at the moment - obsessive collecting of "evidence" of my participation in things. I use the Windows 7 snipping tool to capture screen images and save them as JPEGs - I find these easier to file and store than screenshots. Then if any company tries to pull a fast one, I can wheel out my images to back up my case. Yes it takes a few extra minutes of my time when I'm signing up or taking advantage of an offer, but it's become second nature now. Probably a bit over the top?!

Bit of a faff I know. For me the main reason is because I've scaled up my online earning experiences in the last 2-3 weeks - in no small part due to finding The Money Shed ;D

Haha - sorry, I just mean I've gone from zero online earnings to SOME! ;D

The Money Shed has given be the kick up the bottom I needed - eg getting the most out of the cashback sites, signing up for survey sites etc, but also (and just as importantly) the folk on here have given me the confidence to explore other options that may still come to fruition. I'll post about my experiences so far when I get 5 mins :)

That's encouraging.

TCB has definitely overtaken Quidco in my estimation. Another 89p on Populus Live this morning :)

One little tip I've found out the hard way on TopCashBack:

When looking at retailer reviews, click the drop down box to sort the reviews in order of "Date: Newest First"

I think the default might be set to sort in "Highest Star Ratings" order - which can give a false and misleading overview of recent feedback. Trends might be missed, giving you a false sense of security. I've been caught out in this way :( so I hope this might avoid others being misled too

Yeah good advice, I noticed that a while ago that the positive reviews always seemed to be at the top even if there was only say 5 out of 40.

Well I just left More Than to go to Aviva for home insurance via TCB.

The monthly premium is £10 cheaper a month and I have got £63 cashback for signing up via TCB
