Just wondering if any bloggers (who promote TCB) pay the £5 a year to have premium membership?

I've got a standard account with them and I'm thinking of upgrading so wanted to check it was worth doing.

:)

Anyone else get the email today giving them £2.50 off a min £20 purchase?

Just used it on buying some new running shoes from Sports Direct with a 4.6% cashback as well ;)

The money for the premium membership is taken out of your earnings. If you don't earn £5, then you don't get charged. I've been a premium member for years and have never been charged, cos I've never earned a fiver in a year ;)

Thanks for the heads up - just checked my emails and mine had gone into spam! Silly hotmail!

I seriously don't believe this. Yet again the bonus money comes literally the very next day after I've made a big purchase from a TCB company. Scratching my head now trying to think of something else I can buy just to get the £2.50 out of principle.

No lie, this has happened three times in a row now.

Edit: I wonder if a casino sign up offer will work for this?

This is a good question. It is definitely worth it if you are getting lots of tell a friend sign ups as the reward is higher. Touch and go if its worth it otherwise. I think I get about an extra 50p a month being premium.

I'm on the standard membership - I remember when they first introduced the premium membership and thinking uh oh as it made me worry they weren't meeting their costs - the model always used to be on additional advertising around the website which enabled them to pass on the full affiliate commission (it was a bit of a backtrack for them having launched with no membership fees which set it apart from Quidco which historically always charged the £5 fee and then dropped it).

The £5 fee comes out of earnings each year so if you don't earn more than £5 a year you don't pay the full fee - but then if you're not earning more than £5 each year from them there's little point in upgrading.

I remember being worried if I would even get my cashback when I first started uses them.

But I did....

Yeah it should do. As long as it's a £20 transaction they should be OK with it. Are there any of the Bingo ones you haven't done yet? I know online bingo is beyond boring but I made a killing off those via TCB lol

Chinese Takeaway from Just Eat and I got my 31p CB with £2.50 bonus.

Which is nice.
