No "extra" for me my PC is always on. CPU time on this application is minimal. So far this month it used my cpu for 3 minutes in total and 260MB of data. Makes absolutely no difference in terms of electricity.
The electricity costs are quite low, as we are just serving website content, which isn't CPU or GPU intensive at all. If you computer is already on, you will notice no difference in additional electricity costs.
You probably need to enable uPnp on the router and forward the port to your pc's IP.Tried this but cannot get the software to install, followed all the instructions but it won't work
Ahh right, that could be the issue. Not sure if the VPN has the port required open. For example NordVPN doesn't support it, except a few very common ports.I cant get this to work at al;l, support on their site is non existant, so, anyone using it here know if it maybe wont work if you use a VPN? thats only thing i can think of for it not working (The FAQ is a chocolate fireguard too, nothing under VPN)
