Hi guys. So I've been doing pretty good with Voiceover work on Fiverr and I'm paying for using their promotion which works pretty good.

I'm looking to expand the marketing - but I'm not a fan of social media - I will if I have to - but I wondered is it worth paying someone to market your gigs on there - if so any tips? Or am I best doing it myself?

Cheers
Nate

Hey there I wouldn't recommend using Fiverr marketers if you can help it. They can often do more harm than good (especially on the SEO/website side of things).

Are you simply hoping to get more business, but not quite sure how to make it happen?

I would work on creating a content strategy to target TikTok with some basic repurposing to share the same content over on Instagram. Put in place a little daily engagement plan to help grow the accounts and stick with it. It's not instantaneous but you will learn and grow a viable stream of people into the business.

Thanks for that Dinokapi. I'll try that. I've just read that Quora can be a good place too- helping people to help yourself. Win win and they have some paid marketing too. Might give that a go.

Cheers
Nate.

Always happy to help. I am building a website to teach people marketing so some day I'll just point you there! For now though, happy to help point you to resources online etc. and accounts to follow!

Quora is great if you naturally fit in with answering questions and can be a point of authority. Otherwise it can come across a bit spammy. However I did $7k in new business for a transgender clothing influencer (from the USA) a few years ago so it can be done. It only took half a dozen responses to see traction.

Nice job on the $7k Yeah. I thought if I help people out with what I've learned Q and A, and just have a link in my Quora bio. (So not pushing it) that would be best. I'm trying to limit social media as I spend enough time on everything else. So hopefully a set and forget or minimal consistent effort will work.
