Thanks Debbie, obviously your income comes from commission of the sale, what’s the percentage if you don’t mind me asking? Thanks for the details.
Yes it is commission based and we earn 70% on all Holiday related sales, whether that be Flights, Accommodation, Transfers etc, this is only paid 60 days after the client has taken their Holiday.

If it was to be paid beforehand, and your client cancelled for whatever reason, you would have to repay that commission back to the company.

70% is somewhat generous, wasn’t expecting that. Might look into this a bit more.
Can I ask how many sales you average per month, obviously it peaks at summer?
If you have any referral or anything similar send it my way, be most appreciated.

Each month is different, around Xmas and New Year is our peak time as everyone is wanting to start booking their annual summer holiday. All through the year someone will book, Valentines Day offers- Romantic weekend away, Mother's Day - Spa Day or London Theatre Trip, Fathers Day - Bookings for football stadium tours in UK and Europe, Lapland trips with children in November/December to see Santa, Xmas Market trips etc. You can also specialise in a specific area,so we may have agents that would like to become wedding and honeymoon specialists or we have quite a few that are becoming Disney specialist, the list is endless.

There is a lot of agents that can't cope with the amount of quotes they receive, so will pass them over to other agents in the team.
As I am only part time at the moment, I would say I average between 7-12 per month. That is putting 10 hrs per week in.
Full time agents, can average anything from 50 plus sales per month.
If you would like me to add you to our opportunity group, send me a Facebook request and I will add you to it, were you can watch a couple of short videos, this will explain how the whole system works.
If you like what you see, then I can chat further with you and answer any questions you may have.
Here is the link to my Facebook, and I look forward to hearing from you.

Regards Debbie

How's the current climate affecting the 'at home' travel agent @debsmith1176 ?

I'm guessing not too good. Are you getting good support from your upline/company during this? Whole thing must just be a nightmare!

Hi Jon

Sorry for late reply, I only got back last night myself from being away!
Actually, clients are still booking for later on in the year and it hasn't stopped people booking UK holidays, these seem to be booming.
Our suppliers and company have been fantastic in advising and helping.
I wouldn't say it's been a nightmare! No different to any other day of booking a client to go away. The only difference is rearranging dates with a client and the supplier.
