Hiya

Can you talk a bit about how much you make each month and how many manual man hours that requires?

Are there really still daft people in the world that overbid / overpay on ebay without checking Amazon first!? and also they are overbidding by enough to create a profitable arbitrage situation even allowing for transaction costs?

I still buy books from book shops even though I know I could get them on amazon for probably half the price.

I'm intrigued about the barefoot books though.

To me, it looks like the audience for DS Domination are people who have little to no experience with using eBay and how it works.

Also, once you have got the concept and how it all works, why keep paying the monthly sub (unless you are having to do that to be an affiliate?)

Actually we have alot people who have been selling on eBay for years.. These are the ones now successfully selling on eBay.com and making really good profits.

They continue to pay because of the support we have to offer. Plus the training is continuously being updated. There are alot of changes coming into place in August which means people trying to Drop Ship without proper training will struggle.

This is about building a successful business not playing at anything. Anyone who isn't serious will drop out of doing it. This is not a quick rich scheme because it takes time to build it up.

Hi. That is a difficult question to answer as it depends on how much time I have. Like anything, the more effort you put in the bigger reward though. On average I would say that I spend 2-3 hours a week on Wikaniko related work at the moment as I am just starting out on building my business. I wouldn't really call it manual work though as most of it is done online. Delivering catalogues through doors can be described as manual work I guess but I haven't done that yet. Some distributors solely build their business around catalogue drops. At first this can be quite time consuming as you need to find the households who actually want to order from your catalogue but once you have built up a solid customer base (around a couple of months I understand), you only need to drop catalogues once a month to your regular customers.

The beauty of Wikaniko is that we have so many different options available to earn an income including delivering catalogues, building your business solely online, attending events, holding coffee mornings or at home parties, holding a party online, selling wholesale to local businesses, becoming a KBK Make up consultant, fund raising for charity, starting your own eco cleaning round, and much more. This makes the business so flexible so it can be fitted in around existing commitments.

A business like this will never give you an instant big income, but it gives you full flexibility and the chance to gradually grow it into a solid business over time, while you can start earning some extra cash straight away.

Let me rephrase the question

How much, on average, profit do you make a month working for this franchise!

How much are they?

Yes there are..

PRO is the foundation level with the suppliers being Amazon & our own exclusive to DSD supplier which costs around £12 a month (Depends on conversion from $)
ELITE is the Next stage up with much more Suppliers being named - More for the US market This costs £60 a month but the Profits you can make are much more.
Each come with their own training videos, Tools and webiners

There are other Packages which are one off costs of which I am unsure

We learn ways to sell on other platforms such as Google. Become a seller on Amazon, Ship from China.. Buying at wholesale prices....
There is So much more to it

No one is made to "upgrade" There are no time pressures no recruiting pressures.

You can go as far into things as you want..

£60 a month just to get access to suppliers seems an awful lot of money

What is it about that information that I couldn't just find out myself without spending an ongoing £720 a year?

They are tried & trusted Suppliers.
They is more much information & training about trading in the US. - Of course I can't give out actual information...

If people were smart they could do I what I did...

I paid to upgrade for 1 month... Took notes and then cancelled my Elite Membership ;)

I am happy just trading in the UK. Pro gives me all I need for that purpose.

Good thinking..

Is the carrot dangle not quite heavy though

Get them in at £12 a month, oh you not making what you thought you would be? Maybe you should up to the next membership then you have more earning potential etc

No, actually there isn't much talk of upgrading.
Which is another reason why I like DsDomination so much.. It is very different to other companies!

On the hangouts we give out tips and advice that actually come the Elite Training so that we are all equal, in the sense of there is no need to upgrade unless that is what you feel you need to do for your business.. Like I said the other training covers shipping from china, Selling on Amazon and much much more...

I do get asked when I am part of the panel on a Tuesday - "When should I upgrade, Is there a time limit?"

And I say "No!.. There is no set time, only if and when you are ready".

We also have separate groups for whatever "membership/Package people are on so there is no trying to oversell one over another or
boasts of Hey I'm on Elite and I'm making a ton of money BS...

I'm not sure I'm really allowed to post this, so I'll sneak it in here.

The top 10 sales revenues for my upline team (about 300 people) have been posted. Please bear in mind that July is a traditionally bad month for jewellery sales, and the company is very new so very few established sellers.

Top seller had $5391 sales, and would have earned commission of $2156.40 plus any team bonuses.
Next had $3986 sales, for $1395.10
then $2592 for $907.20
then $2031 for $710
the rest are all $1300 to $1800, so $400-500 commission

Most of the names on the top of the list I recognise as team leaders, so they are all receiving additional bonuses on top of these, and are the more established sellers.

I know a couple of names on the list are UK girls, but I'm not sure if their figures were converted into dollars or those are the £ sales figures.

OK so my understanding of that is..

the VERY top seller in your team earned £1281 (plus a bonus? How much are they? How many man hours have they put in to get that do you recon? or is it more to do with being 'in' earlier on than everyone else and just recruiting downwards?

I have built 2 successful direct sales businesses in the past, however, I have chosen to now come out of that industry.

For many, Direct Sales is an excellent way to start out self-employed, with the infrastructure and support of a large brand name, for minimal investment and the opportunity to earn an unlimited income.

Some people just need to earn and extra £50 / £100 a month to keep a roof over their heads. It can be a lifeline. Some people want to earn thousands, and that is achievable too.

However, I decided it is no longer for me.

One thing to remember is that even though you are self-employed, this is never YOUR business. You can have 100s or 1000s of customers and recruits, however, at any given time, the company you have chosen to partner with could, for example, go bust. Overnight you lose everything. They control the stock, the shipping, the commissions and your team. Whilst your team may stay loyal to you and move to another company, every person in that genealogy would have to start from scratch.

Similarly, you may have built an incredible business and inadvertently breached a contract term and they could strike you off. Leaving your entire downline business to roll up to the person above you. Overnight, you lose everything. I've seen this personally happen.

I have earned THOUSANDS through direct sales and do not regret a moment of my time in that industry. It has taught me a lot and I've made some lifelong friends. However, for me, I decided I wanted greater control over my future and my income. For me being self-employed means greater business freedom, not tied to limitations imposed by another company.

I have no idea of the hours put in unfortunately, but those are the pure retail commission amounts without taking any account of any team adjustments they might have - in other words assuming that they are the bottom of the team without any recruits, just selling.

You forgot "a year from now you'll wish you started today" ;)

As you are someone who actually does franchise work why do you think people end up posting this crud? Why does recruiting people become more important than selling the carrot dangling product?

There's normally a low level recruitment spiel from everyone, because in all MLM recruitment bonuses are good, and you normally get a large enough cut on your direct downlines that bringing in someone who's actually a competitor in your market isn't a terrible idea.

I don't see heavy recruitment posts from what I'd consider the "good" companies often - and by good I mean the ones that have a decent product at a reasonable price with decent repeat potential - ie the ones that you can actually build a long term business with.

The heavy recruiters are a mix of people managers who want to do minimal selling, and the bad MLM companies where they find their market has bottomed out and need to recruit to get to fresh markets - the first still lead with the product, the second are the bad catchphrase and minimal info lot.

So this Younique brand that launches its make up range on October 1st but really the makeup is the carrot and yet again its just getting more and more sign ups.

All I see constantly on Facebook groups are posts asking people to sign up under them telling them they need to get in at ground level while they still can and giving the most ridiculous figures that they can potentially earn

Is there no governing body in the direct selling / making up figures industry?

Just need you to recruit 5 people... then get those 5 to recruit 5 more.....but no, it's not a pyramid cos that is illegal... it's all about the AMAZING MAKEUP PRODUCTS WE SELL!
