Hi. I'm new to this site (not really, been lurking here for a while) and i signed up to profit accumulator yesterday.

Anyway, i signed up and placed a back bet on mansfield vs crawley of 1.53 for £5. (At the time it was 1.53, now it's 4.25) i tried to sign up to betfair but it wouldn't let me use my card so i couldn't place my lay bet. Today it let sign up with my card so i deposited £5. On betfair, it said the odds were back 1.50 and lay 1.51 while profit accumulator said 4.25 and 4.5... Anyway, i put a £5 lay bet even though the calculator wanted to to put £20 in there... But that's not what worries me... On the betfair site it says you need to bet £20 to get the sign up offer? Am i screwed? I'm only a student and just about have £30 in my bank.

Which bookie offer are you trying to do here? I ask as it sounds like you are backing and laying on betfair!

How much was the stake and what are the odds of the back bet?
How much are the odds of the lay bet on betfair?

It doesn't sound like they did the original Back Bet at Betfair @Jon as they were not signed up with Betfair at that point. Possibly Lads or Fred as I think they are usually the first bookies?

@Kimilsung you need to tell us exactly what you have done:

What Bookie did you place the £5 Back Bet with for 1.53 odds?

What £5 Lay Bet did you put on at Betfair, and what odds did you do?

The 4.25 and 4.5 odds sounds like they may be odds for the Draw?

It might be worth ringing Profit Accumulator, so that they can give more advice and maybe be able to talk you through exactly how to correct this.

In the future though, please do not place any more back or lay bets until you have got the account fully opened and enough money in them. You need to be placing the Back bet first and then the Lay bet as quickly as possible afterwards, as the odds can change quickly.

Best to take things slowly, until you know what you are doing - believe me, we have ALL been there, especially with your cash flow.

Sorry for the long post, hope you get things sorted :)

Did the back bet on coral and the lay bet on betfair. The first offer you get when you sign up to profit accumulator.

Don’t worry about the betfair offer right now. You are just using them as an exchange for now and from memory that betfair offer is on their sportsbook side, not the exchange one

What do i do after the outcome of this match? (Sorry I'm a terrible gambler. Used to waste £10 in 1p coins on those coindozer machines...) Dunno why it says my age is 51 on here.. I'm 20.

Sorry if it seems like I'm just here for the money... But that's the reason we all came to this site. I'm sure I'll become a closely integrated part of this place. I used to love going on leakforums and "the hub" back when i used to do that other stuff...

Have you had your free bets yet from coral?

Have you followed the offer instructions on PA and used the free bets?

Once you have done you will have made your money and then it’s onto the next offer

I've got the free bets on coral but not used them yet. I've not got anything from betfair so i can't proceed. They've not given me the signup bonus.

Re read the instructions for the coral offer

You are just getting free bets out of Coral so now it’s time to use them and lay them off on betfair, make sure you set the calculator to SNR like it says in the instructions.

Like @Knopfler mentioned if you are getting confused with the instructions ring profit accumulator for help, that’s what they are there for :)

Might be worth emailing them then if that’s a better option for you
Alright. But i think i understand a little better now. I just back the whole £20s on something and use my own money in the other gambling site as a lay?

Yes you put your own money into the exchange to lay the free bets off

Alright. No matches were showing up in the oddsmatching software so i found a match on coral. Some south american match. Just betted my whole £20 free credit on the second team back. And in betfair, i betted £8.80 on the second team lay. 2 back/3 lay.. still has me worried as my bank only has £1 in there but i should get a nice return from this, right? As long is i get over £35 in my bank back. That's a profit.

Try to avoid some of the more volitile (and franky out of character) sports/leagues/etc. It can flag your account up as a bonus blagger and you'll be limited before you can say, "I need to place a £50 bet on Indonisian Beaver wrestling."
