So I've seen a few of these vids on YouTube and heard about Jon doing it in the past (Hi Jon)

Would you say this is still a good idea/worth it?

If so any idea of what kind of things to sell?

Thanks

Nate

Yeah I used to sell (we are talking 2004-2005 here!!) tv aerials from there on eBay (they were a bugger to package up!) - think I might have branched into remote controls as well.

If there money in it now? Maybe but that was when the likes of home bargains / B&M didn’t exist and also half of China wasnt selling the stuff directly on eBay making it really hard to charge more than 99p!

There's a guy on YouTube recommending it for beginners. Seems a popular channel. Also fairly recent Daily Mirror articles etc flipping for 4/5 times the price.

It seems it can still work.
I just wonder about consistent sales/competition?

I wonder if bundles of different but related/additional items that are harder to copy would work?

Cheers

i would say it's a pretty low 'barrier to entry' so it might be worth buying £20 of stuff from there and giving it a go and seeing what people will pay for and what they won't!

Might be worth joining one of the pound land fb groups to see what people are excited about. Last year they were going mad for ornamental hares.. Some of the Disney tote bags are only available for a short time.. Might be worth grabbing a handful of the ones people are looking for on the fb groups and holding on to them until they've gone off sale in store

I just think with the amount of competition online now and accessibility to cheaper products like this it doesn't look profitable.

It may have been years ago when options were few and far between, but I doubt it now.
