I did an offer earlier on today from Paddy Power, if I bet on the Yarmouth 2pm race, I would get a free power up. I did my first bet, was credited a power up and there was a power up listed. I laid it separately (didn't know what to do), but seem to have lost on all levels. My account is still showing as me having a free power up, is this just the same as an odds boost? Would be grateful if anyone could shed any light please

I get a weekly power boost and it is just an odds boost. Normally I place the bet after using the powered up odds and normally make about 50p rather than having a small QL.

What do you mean that you laid it separately?

When you put your selection in the bet slip you have to click on the part where it says Power Up for it to apply. You lay the bet as normal, but it should work like an arb so the back odds are higher than the lay odds and you'll make instant profit. You can also get Power Ups by doing the free bet club
