Hi there,
I really could do with some advice. I have a severe learning difficulty, I have a normal bank account without an overdraft, however. I often find myself going into the minus and charged lots of fees for having no money or too little in my account when there are bills are due to come out.

My husband has said that I should get a charge/pre-paid card so that I can only spend what I put on it and then I wouldn't run into any trouble and then my main account wouldn't be affected. Please can anyone advise which is the best card for this?

Thank you :)

I think I understand what you are after.

Whenever I've needed a pre paid (or card i've pre-loaded) debit card for going travelling I've used FairFX or Revolut

Some prepaid cards have high charges, revolut or monese are quite good alternatives with no fees not sure if they stop you spending if theres no money in there.
