It's a nice little site I use to learn a Arabic for well over a year now. They teach you over zoom 1 on 1. You choose the tutor to suit your needs and you check their profile and I think you can see a short video introduction to each tutir. All the money transactions are made by preply, and you can easily switch tutor. I am currently paying $4 per hour lesson over zoom and I am really liking it and am well motivated. Maybe not for everyone, but I need more motivation and I prefer it to Duolingo and memorise mobile apps. You can't beat a real teacher! This referral code will get you 70% off your first lesson, but more importantly, you will then get your own code to share to get 30$ a pop off credit towards future lessons. Learning languages are a great way to progress in your career and opens up more job opportunities amongst other things. Here is my referral code.

Definitely helps having a teacher. I'm learning Fusha which is what they use in newspapers but no one uses that on the street. I would be a lot better if I did my homework haha.

That's just a dialect isn't it? At least when you go Egypt or palestine, they'd be able to understand you, and that's all that counts.

No. I am not learning a dialect. My tutor is a native Egyptian and could teach me Egyptian or Gulf dialect, but I am learning a more general form of formal arabic.
