Another company sent via Paid Surveys Update (see my previous post).

The PrizeRebel website says PayPal and gift cards.

Anyone had any experience of them?

Thanks,

FunkyChick.

This one has a fairly decent facebook page which isn't full of people slagging it off as being a con; so that's a fair indictaor I guess; like with all these things they can be faked and they can fall over but this look ok.

Have you tried cross referencing these on something like Survey Police? lots of sources of info are always better than one.

[member=2532]EmilyDav[/member] - yes, Survey Police is a site I drop into quite often since starting this. I find them a bit vague, though, and personal experience is always a better indicator, hence asking here :)

[member=2532]EmilyDav[/member] - I tend to do searches on any companies I come across as a matter of course :) Of course! Lol.

Personally, I'd say stick to the tried and trusted survey sites that many people on here have been using for quite a while (years) and have had good experiences with. There are many, many sites out there, some good, many not so good. There are more than enough survey sites that are already listed on here to keep you occupied and earning, in fact if you were to do them all, there wouldn't be enough hours in the day - I know, I've tried ;)

Thanks :) Yeah, I'm beginning to appreciate that! It's amazing how fast the day goes when you're actively doing things online, and some of the surveys are very detailed and take more time than I think they will.

I would love to be as dynamic as some people here manage to be, like [member=920]katykicker[/member], but frustratingly am hampered by severe fibromyalgia. I'm rubbish at pacing myself, and on days when I feel almost normal, I always overdo things. I'm still a bit overwhelmed with joining survey companies that have been recommended, if I'm honest.

But at the same time, there's always the possibility of uncovering a previously undiscovered gem, a really good company I haven't heard of, and I figure here is the best place to ask :) And look, obvs :D

If stuff like surveys which are high work load for little pay are going to wear you out then just don't do them. Katy earns so much because she goes at them in a routine fashion and hammers then hard so she gets a lot out of it

Instead which don't you look at the other work available on the toolkit on the blog that pays A FAR higher rate of pay for a lot less MANUAL work

Thanks, Jon. That seems like a good idea. I'll look into it properly when I'm feeling more up to it than I am today, or was yesterday, too. Fibro is such a kicker. I'd started to feel more energetic, but seem to have slipped back again. If I ever find a cure for it, I really will be rich!

Thanks for the advice and support, I appreciate it. :)

The goal for working from home should ALWAYS be to up the pay and lower the amount of manual work you do

In my experience, joining loads of survey sites at the start just overloads your inbox and takes all your time away.

If you sign up to the popular ones that we all know work well and pay out reasonably, then if you have spare time, sign up to another one until you're too busy to complete all the surveys each day. Otherwise you will be overloaded and burn out eventually.

If you are looking for the best companies to start with they are really Prolific Academic, newVistaLive, YouGov, PopulusLive, Pinecone and maybe one or two others. You want the better paying ones that don't bombard your inbox :)

I personally am signed up to lots of surveys, as I have time, but I won't be taking part in most of them in the coming months while on maternity leave.

I would say don't base what you want to do on what others are doing and just find what works best for you.

Could have sworn I'd clicked the Notify button for this, but have only just happened to see these last few replies whilst closing various windows, so I apologise for my apparent lack of response back :) Really not intentional.

Am with NVL, Prolific (I haven't had one invite from Prolific yet, and when I visit the site it tells me I'm ineligible, dammit) and Pinecone don't want me at the mo. Haven't joined Populus yet, and I thought YouGov was really, really slow to accumulate points/payment with?

Global seem to quite like me, but I'm quite bored of Opinion World wanting me to do endless For A Charity Donation surveys......really, I got sucked into one that just went on forever, and I thought Why am I doing this? I need to be earning money! Or at least being put into prize draws!

I had a missed mobile call the other day, which Google says could have been Populus, but as I haven't joined them, it's unlikely to have been a paid survey, so I haven't followed that up.

Crowdology seem to like me. I've completed a few surveys, no massive earnings yet, but it's nice to see it going up :)

I-Say hasn't been great so far, but I live in hope :)

Really would like to get in with Prolific and Pinecone. No idea why I haven't had any Prolific invites, all my info is up to date so I guess it's just demographics. There's a thread elsewhere where people post the PA surveys they've done, and I haven't been asked to participate in any of them. One was about lying. I shot over to the site, logged in, and got the Ineligible message :( I would have quite enjoyed a survey about lying! I mustn't be the right age group, or something. Or maybe they know I'm too honest :D

Anyway, better try to get some sleep. Being not well last few days has meant upping my steroids (as per "sick day rules") and that does screw my bedtime up.

Will try to answer [member=1]Jon[/member] , [member=920]katykicker[/member] , and [member=2985]jonnya93[/member] tomorrow (later today, now), but general thanks for the replies meantime :)

Nite nite,
FunkyChick.

Pinecone didn't want me either until I used a link from free postcode lottery. Try that one[emoji1303]

Thanks for that, I hadn't seen a link to Pinecone there, I'll go look now.

Last one I found said my household didn't align with their needs at this time, but they'd keep me on for a few weeks in case anything changed.

I'll keep at them!

Thanks again,

FunkyChick.

That's the frustrating thing about fibromyalgia. I can feel all raring to go and ready to take on the world one day, go to bed full of plans and lists of things to do, then wake up feeling like the entire fleet of Eddie Stobart lorries has run over me in the night, then reversed and run over me again. Some days I'm literally good for nothing.

And if I get TOO excited about having "a good day", it invariably bites me in the bum later because doing too much just wipes me out. It's SO frustrating.

Thanks, Katy :)

Haven't forgotten I owe you a pm reply, day got away from me again - not so much survey related, more to do with Google and Gmail acting up on my laptop. Endless nonsensical circles.

But hey, I had my first Prolific Academic survey invite today! Yay! :D :D :D
