I had loads the day i signed up, 2 weeks ago, and made £9.37 but have only had one since. It was one I couldn't do because I only had my phone with me not a lap top.

I went to cash out today and my account was on hold. I contacted support who said it was a temporary glitch affecting a lot of people. It seems to be working again now but it was alarming at the time.

I have only one survey a day at best. Sometimes I get two but very, very rare.

And I sit at my laptop almost all day doing my research work.

I had exactly the same today. It worried me for a while as I have £17 waiting to cash out!! The support team were really quick to reply and sort it out though, thank goodness as I’ve managed to do a few more surveys this evening.

Ive just signed up yesterday and assuming my subs get accepted I've cleared avout 11 quid in under 24 hours!

Not shabby at all but I'm assuming beginners luck and expecting a significant slowdown

Mine tend to vary but I usually get 1 or 2 a day, weekends are always quiet. I’ve been signed up since May last year, I did studies for about a month and cashed out and stopped for a while as I had no regular internet acces. I’ve been doing studies again now since the middle of January. Overall all I’ve made £64 with just prolific. It’s certainly my favourite!

Looking at my stats I have had 202 submissions and made over £200.00. I still have a few pending. That has taken about 18 months. It is always quieter in the summer.

Looks like you guys are rolling through surveys. Must be my demographics :( would have liked to get a couple more per day.

Are you checking back regularly to answer any surveys/

I leave my page open most of the day and usually get a few a day again at the minute. It was quiet recently but it's picking up again now.

Yeah I do, I also use the prolific assistant on chrome, but nothing's come through since Monday now. I must be their most boring demographic - late 20's, early career with not much to my name xD

I get maybe one survey a day from prolific, if that! ... gone are the days when I could reach at least the £5 payment threshold every day sigh

It's funny because I fit that demographic too and had loads yesterday. Haven't seen anything today which makes me think the initial flurry is a deliberate thing to hook you in - I cleared £14 since signing up Monday evening!

I also had a lot of surveys when I signed up three weeks ago, then it died off after two/three days. Although I must admit I work in the health field doing research and clinical work, so that might be limiting my studies.

I don't think that's the case. I've been with them since the beginning I only check sporadically each week and almost always get surveys.

Like this week I've checked on 2 days and I've had 3 studies already. That's in about 1 hour of leaving it open. What I do find though is I check back and it's got an error on, which I presume is where a study opened and there was an influx of people.
@leofalco I've found leaving the website open in a tab is the best way to find the studies now. The page now updates automatically and it'll show a (1) in your tab too. Ideal if you're on the net lots.

I think as always with this sort of stuff demographics is key

If you are male you are probably going to get a lot more surveys because I doubt there are as many of them signed up to do the work.
