Proving to Money Shed I am not a robot?

So, I am just reading through all the latest responses in the matched betting section here and up pops a message box saying there is unusual activity from my IP address and asks me to tick the box to prove I am not a robot then redirects me back here after about 5 seconds.

I have never had this happen with a forum. I would assume that many people check in and out of discussions quite frequently on all sorts of forums. Is this a new thing on this website? Is there a time limit on how long I should stay on a thread for it not to be classed as unusual?

I haven't had this before - but I would check if your virus checker is up to date and maybe do a scan of your PC - just in case

You would only get promoted with that security check if there was 'odd' behavior coming from your IP address.

I've had it myself when I've been doing 'backroom' stuff on TMS and then gone to use the forum normally and it thinks I am up to something.

after the massive hacking/ malware issue last Feb on here (https://www.themoneyshed.co.uk/inde...ey-shed-service-updates.793/page-2#post-99063) We need this security in place..
