Just having a major wobble (or mid life crisis!) and wondering if I could ever afford to be not working at all or only working part time. Is anyone out there a stay at home mum and dad just doing bits of money earning in the evening once the kids are asleep? What kind of earnings are you making each month?

I've been working from home for 4 years now, I consider myself part-time because I just work as and when really. Though my son is at school during the day, and I'll soon be at uni during the day. Each month varies depending on what you do. My income comes mostly from blogging, ads and streaming. Some months are great and I bring in £1000+ others are not so much where I barely scrape a few hundred.

@katykicker does REALLY well.

Hi @Queen Jess I've been working around the kids for the last few years and earning bits of money. Some months are better than others and it depends how focused I've been. It's never been a consistent income for me so I can't help you on that score. Sometimes I can earn £400 and others just £40. I have often had wobbles but I carry on none the less. Best of luck to you.

hiya! I think we all have this at times.
I work from home, around my daughter and husband. I tend to work in the evenings (7 evenings per 4 weeks as my husband is working these days) and it is definitely possible to work only evenings. I would say that you could expect £500-£1000 this way.

I now have childcare, 2 mornings a week and 1 full day, as I need this to help me run my blog and do everythig that I do online. Obviously I earn more than enough to justify this.

How old is your little one?If you started making some money could you qualify for any free childcarE? x
