Hi,

I've been trying to make a go of making a living from home for years without success. I've got a current out of the home job via an agency with a company, was promised I would be taken on in the Summer but was told next year now, work has dried up early I wasn't told so couldn't plan and now I have no work and no money coming in and I am in a right panic. I really am desperate to make money, even more so with Christmas coming up so soon. But besides that there's bills and food and my partner can't afford it all on his own. I feel I've let him down, we're having to ration food and I really want to give him more.

I have been reading the forum and so many threads but am so confused as to what to try. Is there anything that can be done with weekly pay maybe? That will definitely earn money and not just pennies which is usually all I make online.

I've read so much about matched betting but am so not good with numbers and have always been too scared to try it plus right now what little money I do have which isn't much at all I can't risk losing.

I am signed up with Prolific and am trying to do as many surveys as come through but it's not enough.

If anyone has any advice, help or thoughts I would be very grateful to hear them.

Thank you so much in advance.

So there are LOADS that will pay more than pennies

Take your pick from here

Matched Betting. You will have your hand held so I would at least give the free trial a go, you'll make around £45 and then can take it from there ;)

One area that may help just with the food rationing is mystery shopping. One company in particular have a lot of jobs for pub food and a fast food chain. It would mean you doing one each in different pubs as only one meal is paid for and the fast food place normally gives you a limited list of what you can buy but it is normally a drink and 2 food items.

As well as making money have you looked at ways to save - changing bank accounts, changing energy suppliers, going sim only on the phone. Are you shopping at a cheaper supermarket and not getting branded items?

Too often overlooked. Will be sitting down with a close friend next month to sort hers out also, people too seldom understand that better money management is key to long-term financial stability so I'm glad you raised it and I hope readers take note.
