Doing surveys on the web has long been a staple of any home workers diet. Turn the computer on, get the cup of tea and biscuits ready and delve into the many MANY sites available that let you earn some money.
Now these sites are transferring over to Tablets. Or in this case, the iPad.

Once downloaded the first time you run the App you will be asked to make a new profile. This is your usual survey type setup so expect to answer questions about how many children are at home, annual income and how many cars you own.
Once setup you are presented with the main screen, from here you can see how much cash you have earned. Once you get to £10 you can cash out for a £10 iTunes Voucher. If you don't have enough simply press 'Find The Perfect Survey' and it will retrieve one for you. Now this works the same as any other survey sites in that sometimes there are some available and sometimes there aren't. I have yet to have had a day where there hasn't been at least 1 available for me to do.

As long as one if available you will be presented with how long the survey is going to take and what you will be paid. If you are happy with it, just press 'Begin Survey' and away you go.
I have been doing this for a number of weeks now and have been very happy with the App. It includes Push Notifications as well so it tells me if I have forgotten to check for a survey and one is available for me to do.
I have found the app to be very useful, it's not quite up there with valued opinions in terms of how many surveys you get offered but I think that this is the way surveys are going to end up being presented to us.
You can download the app from https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/quickthoughts/id589328270?mt=8

Android version is here

Is this app only available on the iPad and not the iPhone?

Bit stingy if it is

Re: Quickthoughts - Earn money doing surveys on your iPad

I've just downloaded this app and completed my first survey, earning myself 50p. I do like the layout, which makes it easy to quickly get through the questions. I don't have any other surveys available yet though.

We shall see how it goes!

Cashed out again on this last night.

For anyone that has an iPad it really is a worthy download in terms of bringing in some more cash (although the cash is iTunes vouchers)

Cashed out again on this again the other day.

I easily make £10 a month from it just use that to pay for my netflix subscription

Well worth a look if you own an ipad

On the Apple version yes, it is only iTunes vouchers. But that is OK for me since I use my itunes account to pay for my Netflix each month

Bringing this back from the depths because Jon linked to QuickThoughts in his recent blog post and I installed it.

My first survey crashed, hopefully there will be more :) edit: second said "this survey has been closed", third "sorry you are not eligible" and now it says there are no more surveys. Maybe they run out since June.

Off topic but Jon, if you pay for Netflix from iTunes can you then watch stuff on different devices or only on the iPad?

nah it's dynamic. It's the 'app' end of Opinion World - New stuff appears every day / every other day

yes I can watch stuff on other devices. I fund my netflix account from my Apple ID but it's on my ipad /iphone and on the TiVo downstairs

I'm not very impressed with this app. It keeps kicking me out of the surveys after they load up, sometimes when I'm half way through, telling me I'm not eligible. I haven't managed to do even one so far despite trying several times a day.

That's survey demographic kicking you out there. Not the app itself

Anybody else had problems entering name and address on the android app? Will not accept postcode no matter what format used.

Just downloaded quick thoughts and was told that by answering a few Q's about myself, I would earn 50p and then would go to see if I qualify for a survey.

I answered the questions, got to the end, and then reached a white screen saying "screen out"... Didn't earn 50p and then I unfortunately didn't qualify for four surveys I was offered.

As I'm new, I was wondering if this app is quite worthwhile (providing I can actually qualify!) or whether the others like Clic and Walk, Field Agent etc are better?

TIA!

Works ok for me. It is a slow burner I don't get that many surveys through. Clic and walk and Field Agent will earn you more and be more regular too. :)

Field agent will earn you FAR more than any other app out there

With Roamler a close second as there is a ton of work on there at the moment
