I’m just about to start matched betting and I was wondering what a “realistic” target for the first month would be. Or what you made in your first month. Or anything really. Just curious to see what everyone has to say.

Pretty flexible on this. Is there any sort of number you’d recommend?
I only started with £60 and have made well over £40,000 now.

If your first bets win into the exchange you are laughing otherwise you may have to add a bit extra if you don’t want to wait for the withdrawal from the bookie account back to your bank account

Take a figure you would be able to lose without it hurting your finances. You won't be losing any money, but any money you invest will be tied up for a few months before you can start to extract it out again.

Your first month will be a bit slow as you get used to doing MB. The more you invest, the bigger the bets you can do and the number of bookies you can do at the same time, which also effects your first months earnings.

The second (or third) month is typically where you are used to MB and can do the bigger sign-ups and this is when you earn the most from sign-ups.

After that it is mainly reloads (non sign-up offers) and that is when you will find your 'norm'. This will be related to the amount of time you have to do offers and the number of bookies you have. If you are just doing weekends then you should be aiming for £300+ a month, if you do offers during the week then £500+. My worst month this year has been £650, but my best month has been £2k, so it can vary a lot
