I certainly wouldn't recommend this. They're a new app & there have been a lot of issues. They change the T&Cs at a drop of a hat (in their favour of course), a lot of rewards have gone & the 'price' of rewards has changed very much in their favour. I'm not talking a minor increase in 'cost' but doubling and tripling from the original amount. The max receipt amount has also dropped dramatically. The 'age' of allowable receipts has plummeted.
You have to spend A LOT to get a £10 reward.
£1 spend = 5 points (there are supposed to be stores that you can get 15 or 20 points, but no one has found any).
Max receipt amount £50 (you can snap ones for say £100 but you'll only get paid as if it's for £50.
Cheapest reward is currently 7500. £10 cash is 15,000 point = £3,000 of receipts (assuming none over £50). That's a lot of photos/receipts - 60 is they're all £50. Taking a photo is quick, but the upload is quite slow.
You upload a receipt & if you're lucky you get the points added. You may even get the number of points you think you should get. You may get a random amount of points. Sometimes I've worked out it sees the change you got rather than the price paid (conveniently). The receipt may be fairly immediately rejected - you then get a generic email starting possible reasons. It may sit there 'pending verification' They may sit like that for a couple of weeks. Then if it's rejected you can't upload again as it's too old.
You have to wait 4 hrs between uploads for the same store (i.e. any Tesco not just Tesco x store).
Basically you have no account you can log in to/emails for each upload so you have no list of what you've uploaded, what's been accepted/rejected, how many points you received for it. Points often don't go on immediately, so your balance goes up & you can't work out what receipts have received what amount. It makes it really difficult to make any spreadsheet you make tally. Funnily enough it seems a lot of my larger receipts get rejected or far lower amounts credited.
I'm sure I could rant on if I had the inclination, but I've wasted too much time on them already.
Can you tell I'm impressed with it?! I'm plodding on as I'm just over half way to a £10 pay out, but it hasn't been worth it, but having got this far, I'm not going to let them have my money. I'll stop as soon as I get my £10.
